"I know you will be. I've seen it when you've been with Ysi, and now already with our own baby. And parenthood doesn't come without mistakes, always remember that," Brandon told her. "And I believe in you, always have, always will."

Sadie smiled up at him with relief, reaching up to stroke his cheek. "Brandon, you always know what to say to make me feel better."

"You make it so easy for me, Sadie," Brandon replied. "It's the whole truth and nothing but the truth." He looked down at their sleeping child again, and then decided it was probably best for him to put her back in her crib. He set her back in gently and then hugged Sadie with both arms now.

Sadie wrapped her arms around him, and simply held him close, savoring the sound of silence. It was a comfortable silence, one that signaled a cozy, homey environment, one that identified security.

IT'S SNOWING! =D

This was a moment much like the one they'd talked about before, where the music had stopped and the only sound was that of their breathing, and they held each other, with the silence weighing heavily, but not awkward at all. Brandon sighed contently and was quiet again for a few minutes before he finally said, "Are you tired? Hungry? Thirsty, baby?"

SWEET! Is it sticking? I hope it is!

Sadie said, "I don't want to be a hassle, but could I maybe have a glass of water? I'm parched!" She led him out of Cosette's room, leaving the door ajar. "I don't like making you go all out for me, you know."

Yeah, we went out and played in it earlier =D

"You almost did," Brandon laughed as they headed downstairs and into the kitchen, where he poured her a glass of water. "But that's okay, it's not as if I was totally unwilling," he chuckled.

Did you build a snowman? :,D

Sadie said, "Oh, I like making you go all out in that way. I just meant the over-spoiling, the whole waiting on me thing. But no, I would have loved to continue that little moment we had back there."

Not enough snow, unfortunately D:

"Oh, I see. It's no trouble doing these things for you, honestly," Brandon said. He laughed at that. "Had it continued, it probably would have been more amazing than it already always is with you. And had it been a week later, I'm sure we would have."

Oh poopsicles!

Sadie sighed in an exaggerated manner, rolling her eyes. "It definitely would have, babe! Which is why I'm unhappy with you, because you made me actually think about what I was doing." She pouted, tickling under his chin. "I'm going to make it heck for you until this week is through, to show you what you did to me."

Most of our snow has melted away. Hopefully we'll get more soon.

Sadie lowered her lips to his neck. "Really now?" She murmured, bringing him close to her. "Still, I'm pretty upset, you know..."

Ours has melted D:

Brandon smiled to himself and rolled his eyes. "It's not going to happen, Sadie. Even Cosette, the most innocent of minds told us we shouldn't," he said to her, trying to ignore the fact that she was getting close to 'the spot'.

Aw! D:

ours is basically gone.

"You don't know... things could change...." She murmured, pressing her lips to 'the spot.' She nibbled on it, smirking slightly, then bit down, sucking on it.

There are a few patches here and there, but it's all frozen over anyway.

He sighed and continued to focus his mind on something else. "I'm serious, I don't want something happening to you just because I wasn't strong enough to resist. Things won't change, I'll keep on ignoring it."

The sun is shining here! D:

Sadie sighed with frustration, walking to the other side of the kitchen, now silent. She took a drink from her glass of water, glowering at the wall.

Same here. Well, it was. It's getting dark now xD

Brandon leaned back against the counter and folded his arms. "Please, baby, just a week. I know it's hard, but if something goes wrong.. Well, you never know, it could mean.. Something like we couldn't have another child."

xD

When are you going out for jazz?

Sadie just remained silent, unmoving. She gripped her glass tightly, her knuckles turning white. The only sign of movement was the furrowing of her brow, but the softened expression on her face.

Tomorrow night sometime.

Brandon sighed again. He wasn't really sure what to do; should he leave her to it? Or should he try and comfort her-- not that he'd done a great job so far. "Help me out a bit here, Sadie. What am I supposed to do?"

You're so lucky! I hope the jazz is good.

Sadie said, "I think I need to be alone right now." Her voice was soft, shaky, broken, despite the almost fierce look on her face. "Please." She suddenly burst into tears, burying her face in her hands.
