Talk to you then! ^^

Sadie said, "Well... I'm not sure. I mean, I have some people living with me right now, and my older brother just got back from duty in Afghanistan. Maybe after my friends move out, and my brother gets his own place."

"Well... at least you all are being mature about what happened. When my family and I disagreed... well, I ran. And I haven't looked back since. At least you are trying to make things better. I just ended up ditching things altogether."
Scotte blinked, staring at the girl with confusion. "Um... wait. I haven't seen you before."
Rickey looked at him then She whispered .."s**t." Then she spoke up"Uhh Yeah my uhh mom gave me this money she felt bad so she told me to go give this to....A guy named Scotte?

"Guys, guys, don't look at her like you expect her to yes, I think we'd both appreciate that," Brandon said, rolling his eyes. And at that, everyone just sort of went back to a relaxed position. This was exactly what he'd been talking about earlier when he said they sometimes did the opposite to welcoming people in. "That's fine, we all understand."

Sadie smiled nervously, then said, "So... what do you guys like to do here? Play games, watch movies?"

"Games.." Evangeline smirked. "We're all very competetive here," she chuckled. "I suppose our idea of a game is a little different to yours, but we do go out and play sports on one of the fields out back."

"We enjoy almost all human pastimes, really. Brandon and Evangeline are both very musical, Blaise is very good at drawing. I like to read, personally," Evander said.

"Reading is so boring! I just like watching TV," Kyle spoke for the first time since greeting Sadie.

Sadie said, "Well, I kind of dabble in everything. I really like the arts, that's my forte area, I guess." She then said to Ysi, "What do you like to do for fun?"

"Well, when I'm not playing with Mom or Uncle B I like to draw lots of pictures and play with my teddy bears.." Ysi replied. "Lots of other stuff, too. I like going in the garden, too, and looking at all the pretty flowers."

"You helped me plant some last week, didn't you, Ysi?" Brandon said to her.

"Sure did! And then we sat on the porch and had ice cream!"

Sadie said, "Wow Ysi, that sounds like fun! You want to show me the flowers you planted?"

"Yeah, c'mon, Uncle B, lets go show her the flowers!" Ysi clapped her little hands excitedly. She hopped out of Sadie's arms, and took one of Brandon's hands and one of Sadie's in each of her own. When standing, she could barely hold onto Brandon's hand, so he stooped a little to make it easier for her. She lead them through the kitchen, and into the dining room, where a set of glass doors opened out onto the garden. Matching the house, the garden was huge-- a pond the size of a fair swimming pool in the centre, more willow trees (a bench swing hung from the branches of one close to the river), and almost every colour of flower you could imagine.

"Yeah, this is what I do in my spare time.." Brandon chuckled, following along to a flowerbed planted along the path going around the pond, where young Irises and Tulips were growing.

"They'll look real pretty in the summer, lots of colours to see." Ysi looked very proud of the flowerbed, as she should have been, really.

Sadie was completely amazed. It almost seemed to beautiful to be real, a scene straight out of a fairytale. "Brandon... you mean... you garden in your spare time?" She sounded very admiring of that. It was such a neat thing to do, and it helped the environment, too.

"Between that and music, it's what I enjoy doing, yes." Brandon smiled crookedly again, particularly amused, and pleased, by her expression and tone that showed how admiring of him and the garden she was. "Do you like it?"

"Like it? I love it! It's so much better than having a tiny garden box on the balcony, that's for sure. It seems almost surreal. It's perfect for taking pictures or drawing."

"I personally don't know why the others don't understand my attraction.. Sure, they love it out here when they can come in the summer, but they don't understand why I'd want to spend ages doing all this. A garden this size, and with all these trees.. It'd be so wasted if noone worked on it, right? Still, I've got all the help I need from this little one. She loves it." Brandon ruffled Ysi's hair gently, smiling down at her.

Sadie examined more of the flowers, smiling. Then she said to Ysi, "Which ones are your favorite, Ysi?"

Sadie said, "Well.. my favorite flowers are either roses or daylillies. I love their vibrant colors, and they smell good too. What about you, Brandon?"

"Funny, roses are my favourites, too," Brandon said. "I also quite like the cosmos. People think they're unremarkable but they're really pretty when you get some good colours from them."

"I don't like roses, I hurt my finger when I touched one last time!" Ysi said.

Sadie sat down on the grass, smiling. She felt very at ease here, very comfortable. It was nice to just find a garden and relax. She reached into her bag, and pulled out a sketch book and a pencil. She started drawing Ysi and the sunflowers.

Brandon leaned over her shoulder and took a look, very impressed. He liked to draw, and he was very good at it-- but, as with most things, he'd had much more time to practise. "So you did the paintings in the room we danced in last night?"

Sadie nodded, smiling. Her picture was coming out almost like a black and white photograph. "Yes, that's all my work. I love drawing and painting, it's a good emotional outlet."
