It definitely is, especially when you have a completely different school system.

Speaking of school, my high school sent me a check for $172! Because I got the Commonwealth diploma (the hardest diploma to earn)

XD Oh los Angeles. The smoggiest city in America.

That's so awful! People are really cruel sometimes.

Blandford..... wow. That's somewhat a fail name!

During the transformation, Sadie had begun to feel the real pain of the venom. It had seared like an angry fire, seeming to dry up the blood within her veins. She had kept her eyes shut, but a few stray tears had escaped her eyes and slid down her cheeks. But then she began to zone, and think of everything but the pain, and that helped a lot. She really wasn't thinking concrete thoughts, but she saw colors, patterns, and wisps of vapor. And then everything seemed to stop. Her heart stopped, her breathing stopped. But she found she didn't need it. The panic subsided into bliss, and her senses heightened. The feeling of Brandon's body was warm like hers, the texture of his skin felt softer, more defined. She nodded, keeping her eyes closed. "Yes..." She whispered, pulling him ever closer to her, and kissing at his neck hungrily before becoming one with him.

*skip*

Oh, yeah, completely. I think I prefer our school system, but that's probably because I understand it!

Wow, that's amazing! Congratulations! =DDD

I mean, The Hills look fantastic, as do the beaches (and I must say, considering I live close the the beach, I think Cali would be good for that), but LA itself.. Apart from the obvious places that everyone visits, it just looks cheap and tacky and nasty. I don't know if I want to live there! ):

I know. I just can't believe it. And the guy whose Dad it was, he's truly a great guy, and it was even worse for him Mom, who I like a lot.

Haha, I know, right? It's really not that bad here but I always think the name is pretty humorous for a small, boring town.

-skipppp-

On the plus side, it was wonderful to not have to panic about hurting Sadie with his strength, against her previously fragile human body, and it was wonderful that for the first time they barely tired. So, imaginably, it was an awfully long time before Brandon and Sadie stopped from fatigue, and it was probably one of the first times that he'd felt truly worn out afterward. It made him chuckle to himself softly; he hated to admit it, but if that was anything to base the rest of life on, he really liked Sadie being a vampire. He rolled onto his side and took her into his arms, in a strong, loving hold. "Wow," he exclaimed softly, planting a few butterfly kisses behind her ear.

I honestly think I like European school systems better than ours. your system rewards the people who work harder and do better, unlike our school systems. It's awful.

I was really surprised! I thought it was a bad letter or something!

Oh yeah. There are lots of good places, but it's a hard knock place to be, and it's very dirty.

): our world today is full of people who really make humanity look bad.

XDDD There's a town in my state called "Pink".

Sadie looked up at him and smiled, showing off her new and improved dental structure, complete with fangs. Her eyes were still hazel, but it was much more intense, with flecks of gold in her irises. Physically she hadn't changed much, although her face looked more like a Renaissance sculpture, a true beauty. Her skin had paled a little bit, but her lips had become redder, and she still retained some of her golden glow. instead of completely changing her looks, the transformation had, in fact, enhanced them. "Wow is right," she breathed, kissing along his jawline. "That was the most amazing feeling I've ever experienced."

It varies from country to country. The German school system makes them look complacent compared to us; they don't have major tests for most of their school life, and their school structure is ridiculously laid back.

Well, clearly not! That's truly awesome!

Yayyyy... Whereas New York is as beautiful as everyone says it is, I imagine. Mom certainly seems to think so.

Gaddafi, for a current example... Ugh, seeing a child fighting for his life on the news today from being caught in the Libyan conflict just makes me sick to the stomach.

Really? That's pretty weird.

Sadie's enhanced beauty quite literally took Brandon's breath away when he really laid his eyes upon her for the first time. "You're even more stunning than before," he breathed, unable to help himself from emitting an expression of his obvious awe of her. "In so many ways," he added, "That.. Was the most wonderful experience I've ever had in my life." He held her close and noted that she wasn't as warm as she once was, and it was strange to not be able to feel her heart beating in her chest and her pulse as blood coursed through her veins. Of course, he would miss those little things, but they felt insignificant when the changes allowed her to live with him until the end of time.

Huh! I didn't know that! I'll definitely have to do more research on it!

I'm super pumped. I now have money for my college wardrobe! WOO HOO! (and also to save for international study)

I LOVE New York City. There are bad parts, sure, but Greenwich Village and Manhattan are amazing!

I know! And threatening civilians who aren't even involved in the protests or anything... just awful.

Yeah. I swear, there are really weird cities in the US, just based on their names.

Sadie ducked her head demurely when he stared at her that way, as if he'd never seen her before. She was immensely pleased by his reaction, if not a bit shy about her new looks. She planted a kiss on his cheek and whispered, "The world looks so different to me now. So much clearer, more beautiful than I ever imagined it could be. I can see the pores in the wall... I can see all the veins in the leaves of the trees outside. I can see every single color in your eyes, and... there's even a color I have never seen before. A color that has no name."

I imagine university is different, I forgot to mention. That's just high school life, really. So I wouldn't worry too much about university education not being good enough.

If I had that much money to go and spend on clothes... I would go absolutely crazy in Hollister. I hate that everyone is wearing their stuff now, because I heard about it from talking to people on here and I got there the first day one opened in this country- though I admit that was by chance-, but, of course, I'm not in the 'cool crowd' so everyone else is appreciated for finding Hollister. But I do love their clothes <3

Well, there's bad parts to every city, I suppose. Just like London and Paris, which are both gorgeous cities :) Oh, and Amsterdam. Yeah, that was an experience.. xD

This is where I really choose to hate politics. If systems weren't so darn complicated the UN could make a decision to put him out of power. But, alas, the world is not as ideal as my mind.

The thing that most amuses me about the US cities is the number of city names it's just taken from England. There are just so many! There's even a London, am I right?

"It's amazing, isn't it? You know, the change in the way the world appeared was so significant to me that I still remember what everything looked like as a human. Most people just get used to it, I suppose, like you would if you went colourblind, when you wouldn't even think twice about it anymore. But quite often when I wake up I still find myself marvelling at how everything looks... some nearly two and a half centuries later," Brandon chuckled. He gave her a kiss on the cheek and said, "But I'm glad I can see this way; all the better for appreciating your even more beautiful self."

That is true, university is much better!

XD I have no idea where I want to spend it, really. I mean, I'll probably spend a little bit everywhere, which will be fun!

Amsterdam? DO TELL! *so ready for story time*

I agree. I wish we could all just get along, and politics wouldn't matter, and money wouldn't matter.

We take names from all over the world. London, Frankfurt, Versailles (note: they pronounce it "ver-sales")

Sadie smiled and cuddled closer to him, burying her face in the crook of his neck. Everything was so different, but in a sense, nothing had changed. It was she who saw the world in a different light. She murmured to Brandon, "I love you so much. And I'm glad that I get to spend my forever with you, and our family." She kissed his neck lightly, then grazed it with her fangs, more of a playful motion than anything.

I think that's probably because at university, we're all achieving the same thing, a degree, whereas at 16, 17 and 18, I do A Levels, the French do their Bacs, and I have no idea what the Germans do, nor do I know what you guys do, but I know they're all different things, but degrees mean the same thing to everyone.

Sounds good to me! :3

Well, there's of course the famous Red Light District [and to make it perfectly clear, I did not visit that], but while we were there we went to a market and you could just buy bags and tins of 'Grow Your Own" Cannabis and Magic Mushrooms. And then we [i was with my cousins on this trip] were walking past some shops and I was looking in the window of one as we passed and said, "Ooh, Georgie, that looks very goth slash-- OH MY F'ING GOD." The next shop along had an open front, and you could see everything in the shop, including all sorts of interesting stuff which I will probably never have any idea what they are for, and some rather thought provoking images on a slide show on the TV.

"Ver-sales?" Really? :/

"I love you, too," Brandon replied. "And as much as somehow I know I'll never forgive myself for being the one who stopped your heart and took away your warmth I loved so much, as long as I think about the fact that it makes you just as happy as it does me that we can always be together, I'll learn to live with it." He smiled closed his eyes, tilting his head back a bit for her.

SO as I was replying to this topic, and had the post essentially done, my computer decided to die on me.

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT! D:

But I really like your Amsterdam story! It sounded like a real adventure!! ;D Did you guys go there just for fun?

Yeah. It's... country-fied

Sadie grinned and nipped at his neck, still getting used to the fact that she had fangs protruding from her gums. But it was a really cool feeling. Different, but cool. She looked Brandon in the eye, and found herself even more taken by how handsome he was. The color of his eyes was more intense, everything about him was more defined. "Brandon... thank you for this. I always want to be with you, and I know it was hard for you to change me, but... I promise, this is what I have wanted for a very long time."

^^ O: 11:11. Sorry, that just never happens anymore, I swear!

Ah, I totally can believe it- it's happened to me on many an occasion! But it is the most annoying thing! ):

Haha, oh, it was. Holland was an amazing trip. We actually went to somewhere just outside of Amsterdam for a holiday. Here's the funny part. I went skiing there xD

I'm not sure which is weirder, though. Versailles, said properly in an American accent (I just tried it myself to see how it sounded), or the sound of the countrified "Ver-Sales."

Brandon nodded understandingly. He said to her, "You're welcome. Happy birthday, love. You know I'd do anything for you, give you whatever you wanted, in order to make you happy. And that's how I know that this was always going to be inevitable. Before Cosette.. Before so much of our relationship... Even though we were just starting out, you told me it was what you wanted one day, and I was so in love with you even then, that I knew that I couldn't possibly refuse you, because I wanted to make you happy."

Oh wow! I had no idea I did that (then again, it was 6:11 for me, :3)

You skied? NO WAY! I can't imagine that, honestly. I'm trying!

The countrified one, most definitely. I don't have that much of an accent, so I definitely can tell when there's a difference.

Sadie gave him a gentle kiss, then tousled his hair lightly, watching how the dim glow from the candles bounced off his locks. He mesmerized her even more, now that she saw him in a much more detailed way. "Oh Brandon," she sighed, grinning at him. "You're the best thing that's ever happened to me. And... 'm glad we get to spend our forever with each other." She took his hands in hers and kissed them, before sitting up slightly to comb out her hair.

Ah, how nice. As I was just about finishing my post and for some reason was trying to locate the special characters on my keyboard, I unwillingly discovered that the command key plus the 1 key takes you back to the Apple homepage.

Of course. I forgot about that! -fail-

Haha, yeah. It's sort of the European equivalent of being in America and saying, "I'm going on a skiing holiday." "Oh yes? Whereabouts?" "Kansas" xD

Yes, but, just think, to me or a French person in particular, you have one hell of an accent ;D

Brandon emitted some kind of an involuntary, gentle purr as she rain her fingers through his hair- he liked it when she did that. As she sat up, he turned onto his side, propping himself up on his elbow, and resting his head in the palm of his hand. He sort of observed her from where he was then, watching how the light played off of her even more beautiful than before body and features. Then, he also sat up, wrapping his arms around her from behind in a gentle though entirely enveloping embrace, laying his chin on her shoulder. "How on earth.." he murmured, planting a soft kiss on her neck, "was I fortunate enough to have met such a beautiful woman in a sleazy bar, when I was down in the dumps?"

Urrgggghhhhh! i hate it when that stuff happens!!!

XDD Silly Tazzy bear!

HAHAHA! exactly!!! I skied once. It was scary!

Well... that is true! Although I wish I had a different accent!

Sadie said, "Sometimes I think it was divine intervention or something. I mean, there we were, two lonely people, at the worst points in our lives. What was the chance that we would actually meet each other, and fall in love? Very low. But here we are, much later on in our lives, and we've found happiness in each other." She cuddled close to him, still surprised by how things had turned around in her life. Then, she heard crying from the nursery. She put on some pajamas, then went to the nursery and got Cosette from her crib. She brought their baby in the room and sat on the bed, cradling Cosette in her arms.

Ahh, I just watched Burlesque. I adore that movie <3

It was so annoying!

Yeah pretty much. But when it is as late as 11:11pm you tend to forge about time differences :3

It was pretty awesome. It was actually an indoor centre, you see, at the holiday park- yes it was that good there, they had a lake with a 'beach' around it, extreme sports, an awesome pool and the most amazing place where all the evening events on, where it was like an actual indoor rainforest- and we had three lessons of skiing. I thought it was fun, but I would have liked to have snowboarded instead, I think. I've heard it's harder to start off with, but gets easier to progress. When you're my height, braking on skis is ridiculous because I can't spread my legs wide enough in all the gear xD

My accent is... For the most part, the most typical British accent- we're probably the most well spoken- though living around all these different nationalities has left me with odd twangs. What accent would you have, in that case?

While Sadie went to fetch Cosette, Brandon put on a pair of boxers and a t-shirt before sitting back down on the bed, patting the spot next to him for her. He smiled as they both tried to comfort their daughter, stroking her perfect skin, whispering to her. Soon, she was back to her usual, content self, and yet again, though she was still clearly tired, she was trying to stay awake to be with her parents. He chuckled then, and said to Sadie, "You know, I'm going to like always being able to have at least one baby to hold. Sometimes I get a little jealous of all this female bonding."

I have yet to see it. Is it really good?

I can believe it. I think I might need to replace my laptop battery D:

JEALOUS! That sounds like a blast!!!!

Hmm... well, if I could have any accent, I would have to say a french accent or an australian accent. I love the way they sound!

Sadie said, "It's because I'm mother bear, I guess!" She giggled, then watched as Cosette cuddled into the bed, making a spot for herself. It looked like there would be three in the bed for the night, instead of two. "Oh Cosette, you little stink-bug! You just wanted to sleep in our bed, didn't you?" She then looked at brandon and said, "Two babies will double the craziness, but it'll also double the fun times!"

It is really great- you would love it. Christina Aguilera is an outstanding singer <3 She wrote a lot of songs for the movie, too, which I thought was really impressive. Plus, Cam Gigandet when he looks normal and not all vampired up is delicious!

It's funny, though, every time I think of "They Call Us Show Girls" I can just see Burlesque. It's the same sort of concept, in a way, especially as now the girls are starting to sing as well as dance.

Really? Can you do that? I dread to think what a new battery would cost for this laptop...

It was amazing, and we visited a lot of great places. Holland is surprisingly beautiful.

My Australian accent has been declared the best. It's funny, I can do an Aussie accent almost flawlessly, but not a South African accent. Shame on me!

Tangled. Is. Adorable! I now officially love that movie <3

"Papa bear deserves some love occasionally, too, you know!" Brandon jokingly protested, pouting playfully before lying down on his side, facing the other way, pretending to be in a huff with them both. "And as for dealing with the craziness- you're on your own now, mama bear!"

I'll need to see if the library has it!

XD I love the Showgirls topic! It makes me so happy!!!

It'll cost a lot of money, so I'll try to hold off for as long as I can.

My friend's grandmother lives in Holland. She brought pictures. It looks like an awesome place! I would love to travel around the world!

Hahaha, that's awesome! But you can't do an SA accent? Tsk tsk tsk! *just kidding*

I know! I'm so sad it'll be the last princess movie for a while, but oh well.

Sadie leaned over and kissed the back of his neck, keeping Cosette secure in her lap. "Now baby... don't be like that. Or not only will you get no baby bonding time, you'll get no wife bonding time. And we both know how cranky we get when we don't have intimacy once in a while." She playfully nibbled his ear, then kissed his temple. Cosette looked sleepy and confused, trying to climb over Brandon to see his face. "Dada?" She asked. "Dada?" She then babbled, although more of her words were becoming coherent.

I imagine it probably will do by now :)

Haha, yeah. It's a really good one, actually. I must tell Beth what a great idea it was.

I just looked at prices for one for mine... £99 or $129, before adding tax.

I'm really lucky to live in Europe, I think. Places like that are right on my doorstep, whereas for you it's that little bit farther to somewhere with a different sort of culture. You could get to South America more quickly, though!

I can sort of. But I don't like doing it around people in case I get it wrong. Especially my family, who would pick up on it in an instant. Saying that, though, mine is probably better than most people's attempts. I sit there and get irritated with their, "White bread, brown bread" attempts at an SA accent, while everyone goes, "Oh my gosh! That's so good" and I say, "No! It's all wrong!" xD

True. But perhaps when the time comes for them to make another one.............. :3

"Huh. You're not my wife yet, and you won't ever be at this rate!" Brandon exclaimed, stifling a chuckle in his pillow. "But you are right. I couldn't possibly put up with your whining if I deprived you of any intimacy." He rolled over to face her, grinning at her cheekily. He took Cosette into his arms, and as she babbled away to him, he softened his tone of voice, though it was deliberately still loud enough for Sadie to hear, "Oh I know. Yes, she gets awfully wound up, doesn't she? I agree, it would be best if I gave in, for our own sake, honey."

I'm hoping so!

And yes, you definitely should tell her what a good idea it was!! <3

Oh gee. but then again... yours is a Mac, and a newer model at that.

Most definitely. But I don't really have much of a desire to go to South America myself.

Hahaha, and you're allowed to critique them! Seeing as you're from South Africa!

I WILL DO IT! I will be a princess!!!

"Oh, my whining. Of course! because I'm the only one with needs!" Sadie joked, smirking. Cosette just stared at Brandon, looking somewhat confused, before planting a slobbery kiss on his chin. She laughed wildly, causing Sadie to laugh as well, clapping her hands together. "Oh Cosette, you are too funny! And Brandon, that's what you get for gossiping about me!" Cosette crawled along on the bed, then onto Sadie's lap, squealing with delight. "Mama!"

I think I shall!

True. But, as established, not the newest model anymore! Phaha, as if I really care about that anyway. It's an awesome computer. Plus, the new ones didn't come in 13 inch, so technically mine is still the newest model of its type.

Yeah... A carnival in Rio would be pretty cool, but otherwise I agree, there are a lot other places I think I'd prefer to go. Like Asia, Australia, and, of course, North America so I can come and visit you all! :)

Exactly. But, alas, it means nothing to them!

And I will draw you as a princess! :'3

"Yes. Absolutely. You see, it's a common known thing that people lose their desire for intimacy once they're about middle aged. And, well, I'm technically way past that!" Brandon laughed, leaning forward to give his fiancée a quick kiss, then pulling away and winking at her. He chuckled along with the rest of his family at Cosette's cute little antics. "Alright," he said, as if admitting a crime, "I surrender to the slobbery kiss treatment! I'm sorry for gossiping about you, mama bear. It won't happen again. For a little while, anyway."
