I've had mine for a while and its never lasted more than 3 days and is very light.

I guess i'm lucky. For 6 months it only came every 2 months and its not regular.

SUCCESS THOUGH. I successfully used a tampon. I can swim with it now so i'll never have to miss Waimak on a hot day again!

Blehh I hate periods. I can't use a tampon either! One day maybe I will be successful :)

Because everyone is different :D
Some girls become regular quite quickly - within a few months - for others it takes a few years.

A few women (very few) do not ever become regular.

Just carry pads around with you in your school bag or purse in case of "emergency" ... even women who get their cycles regularly do that ;)
Thanks I am doing that sometimes its just frustrating

^A lot of my friends use tampons and say that you can't feel it at all if it is in properly. I wouldn't know though, because I can't use them either!

Don't worry people. For like 2 years everytime I got my period I tried a tampon and after 2 years of practice it paid off! And theres no mini tampons with applicators so I had to do it freestyle. Keep trying! Oh I thought it would feel weird but since I got it in properly I could't feel it. Its not as scary as I thought!

you only don't become regular if you are super skinny and that messes your body up

I think I have mine, because there is light red stuff coming out from around -there- but I'm not gonna instantly say its my period, because whenever i get my hopes up that i wont have to be on edge finally about my period and i finally got it all the major symptoms that made me think that go away. but anyway i have this light red stuff coming out from -there- it just started like 30 minutes ago, and i have panti-liners on for protection... i will update Ya'll later. If any of you have some advice PM me!!

I did get mine... I hate it, I feel sort of sick and I have bad cramps and even though I have a pad on it still feels damp because some of the blood just stays -downthere- instead of going down on the pad -_- cya all later. Please PM me with any advice for me!!!

I hate it. And I can't use a tampon. To be honest, I can't figure out how. xD How does the tampon feel? Is it better than the pads?
I've tried before.

This sounds ridiculous, but I couldn't find the hole where it went up!

I kept shoving it up there, but it had no place to go. I was like, "WHAT THE HECK?"

So either my vagina is freakishly small (I really hope not. O_O), or I wasn't shoving at the right angle. I dunno.

Same.

I don't think it has to do with size.

But you should always try it with smaller tampons, never big ones.

I tried getting my mom to help... And she wouldn't. -.-; [Yes, she uses them herself.]

I'll keep trying though.

That's not true. There are many other reasons why.

Most because of your health.

My aunt only has hers once a year.

She's perfectly healthy.

It's just a thing. Who knows.
you are right there are many reasons, however one of them is in teen girls you can get it and stop because your % of body fat is not enough. and if you are too skinny that means your body isn't getting all the nutrients it needs and you are not healthy.

and i am healthy the thing is i don't get it regular cuz my body adapts more slowly.
