You know a lot of females think that until you have a best friend who is a guy, and then you learn a lot about their puberty and what it was like for them. They may not have periods, but they get facial hair and increased blemishes on the face and in other areas and then the wet dreams and out-of-control-erections. Those can definitely be embarassing at the wrong times lol.
Anyway point is we get the pros and cons equally, just in different ways. I'm sure a few select of guys probably think "Oh the girls have it easier" too at times
Yeah, you do have a good point. It's just that periods and *cough* erections, screw with peoples minds. Sometime we have it bad so that we think that. That's what I meant. :D

Many people get cravings for food, I get the urge to hug people, anyone else feel the same?
uhmmm...

I get the urge to bite people's heads off? ;) lol I always have some weird food craving. Once it was like chedder potatoes. 8D

I haven't had my period yet this month, and don't think I will until the last few days but, GOD, today I've had this weird cramp in the lower left side of my stomach and it's absolutely KILLING me right now.

I hate it.

xx

Yes, they do have some major downer points to their pubertic stages.

Haha, this ex of my friend just randomly sat down on his lap once and he got one and was like "...". She didn't notice though. :furawatchi:

^Haha! Another thing that comes with periods *for me at least* is the feeling that you just don't want to live anymore. I have that feeling right now. I don't feel like eating, reading, watching tv,playing outside, nothing. And my dad yelled at me for no reason,I can't figure out something,I jsut feel like I have nothing to live for. Why can't adults get thsi stuff? Kids aren't prepared for this kind of stuff.

Changing subject:

Ay my school,"the video" and stuff has grossed out people's minds enough so that if someone is all moody, everyone thinks they have their period, and that if a guy has his hands in his pockets,he has a,yeah. (I don't feel confortable saying that word!!!)

The only pain really, is the pain in your neck. And I mean that metaphoricly. No real pain, just extremely annoying.

I got really scared that I would never be able to be active again ((Not that I ever WAS active...)) but they only stay for about a week. Or even less. Sometimes you might get lucky and skip a few months ^-^ ((They happen about monthly.))

Im a guy but im only eleven, but no girl's are having periods in my class yet, I think. (Not that any of them would tell me) But im currently starting puberty. Like Oily skin, oily hair, got a little acne, all the emotional stuff. That's it. No wet dreams or anything really gross has started yet. (Thank Gosh) But from what I heard the cramps can sometimes hurt a little but there not really bad. That's what I heard.

I am a guy and 11 too, and the gross stuff for me is starting to happen.

I'm going through puberty now.

I heard periods hurt.

I think they are both equal. Periods and puberty.

It's different for every girl.

I got my period (which I call "it") at age 11.

So, I just started sixth grade at the time.

And I get cramps. So bad, that I went to the doctor and he prescribed meds that I take every day.

It's a huge pain for me. (I went home from my school's annual grade 7/8 camp today because of it. :( And I got a new bikini especially for the camp.) But when you do get it for the first time, it may not even be that bad. As I said, everyone is different. And you also don't have to feel embarrased, because every girl gets it, and they probably know how you feel from experience.

It's not the actual period, I don't believe that hurts, it's just the ride that comes along with it.

Do any of you guys - girls, whatever - know why we bloat and have cramps sometimes while others have no such issues?

Oh, and btw, periods<puberty. For females periods come with puberty.

Um, aren't girls gaining water weight or something? If that's what you meant anyways. :( ;

Ugh! Early this morning before school I went to the bathroom and I just found out I had my second period. In my house we only had thin pads. So I had to us one of those. And at school before lunch we go walking around the track for 15 minutes. And blood went through my pants! Thank goodness I was wearing a long shirt so I could pull it down and nobody could see.

That happened to me at the mall, but my shirt was short, and my capris were light blue. :X

Oops! Did I say blue shirt? I meant long. And Vanilla that would suck.

Lucky for you you had a long shirt! and, it did suck, and i had to keep pulling my shirt down so no one would see. It was hell. :D My mum didn't figure it out until an hour later after I was constantly nagging her, but luckily we found a restroom to change it. So embarrassing. :x

No it's not, people are just different! How old are you? I think you should get it between 11 and 14 years old or something. :S

i am 12 yrs old and i started mine....i dont really like them but i dont think anyone would lol! they get annoying i have to admit but you have to deal with it. i first started mine in school  and asked to go home early and stuff like that, you get some cramps and pains but you could try putting something very warm on it to make it better. Thats what i do anyways.
