lucky that you got out of gym. >_< but isn't running and such suppose to help? we do it everyday, and i'm supose to get it next week. ._.

personally i think it doesn't help because it's already uncomfortable as it is on the "heavy days" and running around would kind of make it worse. >_>;

It helps cramps, which I never had. Plus our gym teache ris a girl and she is nice. we have gym every day except 3rd marking period (the "sex talk" thing...) and she doesnt mind because it was the 1st one. That just menas I have to do crunches, the bent armhang and pullups tomorrow (we take da presidental fitness test. No rope climing :) It suckes I ahve to do the bar though ) along with everything else we might do. Im fine though, its slowing down.

sometimes I have pain in my breast, is that normal?
If your breasts are beginning to develop and grow it is normal to experience some pain.

The pain doesn't normally last for a long time and if it is really painful you could try something like Tylenol/Calpol to take the edge off the pain.

If the pain is constant and continues (all the time) for more than a day or two then you should talk to your Mom and see if you need to make an appointment with the doctor.

 
I always had cramps x.x The first day of every period I skipped school and just laid in bed drugged on pain meds with a heating pad. It was horrible.I had really heavy periods too. I couldn't wear just pads because they would fill within an hour >.< I had to have a super tampon and a pad, and even then I'd have to change the tampon every hour or two. I hated having periods.

Luckily my birth control got rid of my period, but I still get medium pain cramps now and again.
i changed mine every 2 hours cuz i didnt want to leak...they were pretty heavy then and it scared me.

never had cramps.slight stomach ache if anything.

just wondering pretty sure i know but how do you tell when a pad needs changing?

It's always a good idea to change it frequently if that makes you comfortable.

I either judge by the feel or the look when it comes to changing. If it feels too wet or uncomfortable, go change it. Or, if you use the restroom and notice that it looks "full" then change it. It's really a matter of what works for you and your judgment. :p

And now I seem to get the stomach ache stuff, too. I get some cramps (nowhere near as bad as they used to be), but also get "sick" within the week before my period, normally towards the start or on the start of it.

*Oh yeah! Was going to say, I was told that if you "fill" a pad in an hour or less, to see a doctor.

Yes, I have.

Here is some heads up to the people with incoming periods - use pads the first week of you period. Then, use tampons. You shouldn't use pads for the rest of your life. They are nasty.

 
My entire family(moms side) is obese. I have my Aunt's build(dads side, thank god) she was overweight for awhile but now...... she looks good. Im worried ill be overweight. I excersize, watch the fitness channel, and eat when i need to(im hungry) for snacks i eat carrots. I am 5'3" at 124 pounds. Am i fat or overweight? Im bigger than my friends but not much. AND NO I DONT HAVE A EATING DISORDER to become skinner!!sry i lost it there, i hate eating when im not hungry, which is more than i can say 4 my mom. PPl think 'cause shes my mom ill eat like a pig 2. So if i say no to the cookie, somebody is awalys pulling me to the side asking if i have a disorder. ;) I socked these "i'm just trying to help" ppl. its kinda hurtful. anyone have any suggestions? please?

Your BMI (Body Mass Index) is 22, which is good.

I have the same problem, but at least your making better choices than I am.

Anyways, you can't help that your parents passed down the "possibly overweight gene". Even if you only eat vegetables, exersize like a maniac and never eat sugar again, there could be a possibility you might be a tad overweight, but there's no garentees.

So in conclusion, your not fat. Your not overweight. Your perfect for you, because everyone is built differently. Just keep making healthy choices and things like that.

And BTW did you know BMI was never accualy made for weight? It was accually made for some sort of mathematics hundreds of years ago. The government just thinks they can tell you that your fat or not based on height and weight, which is not true.
