Well I mean my public hair it tiny! Like 15 hair. Maybe a centameter long for each. But I mean thats y I DONT WANT TO GET A WHITE SWIMMING SUIT! Thanks though!

Random story, but I was reading on Snoops about the youngest girl to have a baby, and she was 5. She got regular periods since she was 3 and had almost fully developed breasts and stuff. She had this baby, and everyone told the baby he had a sister, and he only found out in his 20's that she was accually his mom.

Intersting and random.

Just because she is still considered a little girl and she has her period. Lol im 12, and i don't have it yet!~
I'm 13+ and I still don't have mine. ;]

We're just lucky. xD

I read that story too except it said she was 4...Anyway, it said that she had a hormone problem and that is why she had a baby early.

The father of the baby was unknown and still is today. Unfortunately, the boy that was born had passed away and the girl that gave birth to him is still alive and now lives somewherewith a husband and another little boy.

My friend got her period when she was 11 which is a bit freaky. I am now 13 but I haven't got my period yet and I don't want one either. A few months ago, I saw that I had pubic hair. 0_o

She's ready to have kids?
LOL, I bet she can't wait to hear that! XD

And why did you put "!?!"?

I just wanna know why you did that.
First off I wanted to say I think it is great a boy wants to understand a little more, It makes them more mature.

BOT: The main thing is to stay supportive of your friend and not make fun of her 4 it, you will go through puberty like everyone else so just be supportive.

She probably put !?! because 9 years old is pretty early to get your period.

Hope I helped

I wouldn't worry about it everyone starts. She shouldn't of told people maybe if she hasn't started she's a little jelous you started first.

It's normal - everyone starts so I'm sure everyone will be mature about it and not make a fuss.

Thanks. She knows that I know now and keeps walking away. Thanks once again!

My first post in this topic! xD I haven't had my period yet, but I recently had "The Talk" and my mom bought me this book called The Period Book lol. I was grossed out at first but it's actually kind of helpful. And I also know we're going to have the video soon at school. I've already tried a pad, and I don't feel a thing. I'm sort of scared to try a tampon though. ^_^

Tampons don't hurt; unless you put them in the wrong way. Also, if you leave it in for too long you can get a fatal disease called TSS. (Toxic shock syndrome)

Ooh, the video.

I had that last year. Be sure to not laugh. Our teachers got really fed up because everyone was laughing before it started. It was kinda helpful, though.

Matchy

What happens when you get TSS?

I've heard about TSS. It's not so much that it hurts, to me it's just sort of creepy to put something up my vagina. :/

I wonder what you do when your married and are going to have intercourse...

ta9394 what do you mean? Do you need the 'Birds and the Bees' or how to prepare for children, or even the preparation before hand? I'm unsure as to what you mean, so I can't help much.

what happens if at mid- night you get ur period and everyone is sleeping and stores closed what i do? lol

If you're approaching the age when you think your periods might start, then the sensible thing to do is to plan ahead :)

Ask your Mum to buy you a pack of pads that you can keep in your room - in a clothes drawer or in the wardrobe, just in case it starts.
