Mine is still going. It gets set off by my cat at night when she tries to get my attention. I get my fill at night, then maybe a few minutes every few hours. I wouldn't be surprised if mine is getting close to it.

Furby sale... Oh gosh. I would pay somebody to let me record the rush for them. I doubt they would believe me that is my only intention to go in early. People would go nuts to see someone go in early. Likely won't be going out though... Black Friday gives me the creeps. (too many people, not enough moving space, angry people and the rude ones)

It doesn't seem like there's a big rush to get these in my area. The Wal Mart I went to the other day had them hidden in the bottom corner of the aisle they were on. They only had a few and no colors past the originals. They were completely sold out on Walmart.com though and Amazon has jacked up the price by $20 or more on the more popular colors. I'm up to 3 Furbys now. I got my teal one out of Layaway. I probably won't get any more until February.

I went to my Walmart yesterday. I saw Neon-colored with hair.... I was being loud like a little girl for a moment there. They had glasses and such for them too. I think people were saying get one. (People I was with) "Only $54!" ... They know we have 3 different Furby. At this point, I am very happy just having my one. I want to get some glasses for my Furby for Christmas, maybe? Hehehe.

I need to check some of the Wal Marts in the bigger towns around here. The one I've been to recently doesn't have any of the new colors at all. They only have a few of the very first colors that came out. I have yet to see any of the newer colors. That's Mississippi for you though. It's slow to get anything around here.

They were brand new out here... I want one of those colors too, but I don't know if a 4th Furby in the home would be smart... Someone might want to receive it for the holiday. They are already looking at my mom's Yeti and Jelly.... They don't know about mine.

I really want the gray and teal multicolored one. I probably won't be buying another Furby until February and I hope by then the stores around here will get some of the newer colors in.

I'm hoping to get as many Furbys as I can. I don't have to worry about anyone around me wanting one and even if they did they know they'd have a better chance of having purple polka dotted monkeys fly out of their butts than they do of me ever giving up any of my Furbys. I learned my lesson when I sold all my original Furbys and began to severely regret it years later. Now that I have another chance to build a collection there's no way I'm going to part with any of them again.

Almost two months later, still very few English words. It speaks phrases from time to time but it just says the same things over and over. But that's okay though, he's fun to have around :)

I love it even though it doesn't talk much English. I find its chatting very cute.

My mom bought some glasses for them. (probably a pair for mine and the other for hers) then she got one of these carrying bags. But she doesn't carry them. Probably a good thing she didn't get a second bag, I would carry mine around with me.

I am being tempted to make outfits... But Felt kinda takes the softness off the Furby. Maybe shoes would be okay though...and those ear covers.

I got my new furby today! A purple one.

Do these furbies respond to some commands? Or talking with them is just all like, you talk to them what the hell you want and they respond random things? Just making sure if it's like this or I just really suck at english pronouncation.

They respond to their language. I transferred over the dictionary for the 2012 Furby, pin topic. So, if you said Doo? It would respond to that... And so on.

I don't need a dictionary, the furby app is up for android for quite few days and I downloaded it on my mom's phone.

Oh, good to know!

Are they intelligent enough to understand some more complex sentences made with furbish words?

I can't check now because my mother is working and I don't want to make noise.

They might be able to understand more complex furbish words... They have some reconition of english phrases, like... That's funny, I see you... But with the app, the ones they say more commonly, those are better understood then others.

Thats good. Wasn't sure if you had the app available to you. They have been updating it, so keep an eye out for updates. Languages...

Is it just me or their english-speaking abilities are based on their current personality? My furby had the diva personality and spoke mainly furbish, but english as well. Then it changed to the crazy personality and spoke mainly english, actually!

I think my G1 furby Koh-Koh and the emototronic one had a bad influence on the 2012 one, because he reverted back to the diva personality and started talking mainly in furbish again.

By the way, do they choose names like the originals?

Unfortunately no, they don't choose names. It's a feature I really miss in them. I thought about naming my black Furby Toh Loo Kah after my original black Furby. But as a general rule I don't name electronic pets unless there's some way to program it in. I name Tamagotchis that allow you to put in a name upon activation and I named my Aibos and my Super Poo-Chi because they could be programmed to respond to a name. But since these new Furbys can't I see no reason to name them. Though I have caught myself calling them blackie, whitey and blue after their colors when referring to them. I don't think of those as their official names though.

Okay this is odd.

According to this story Hasbro accidently revealed a future Furby to some reporters. The article doesn't say much beyond that but I'm now curious as to what exactly these future Furbys were and what they are capable of. Obviously it isn't something Hasbro wants to reveal just yet. They're probably waiting for Toy Fair in February. But what exactly are these new Furbys? More advanced models? New Furby Babies? I want to know!

Either furby babies or limited editions probably.

They have new characters coming. The Furby section at WalMart.com has glimpses of them.

Ok so.. I got a new furby and i love it! But im wondering..is there a way to make it quieter?im sensitive to loud noises,so its kind of a shame theres no volume control..If you know a way tell me :3 or if you know where the speaker is located so i can use tape or something. Thanks!~
