I have had hedgehogs. They were interesting pets but it was not easy to provide the perfect place for them to live.

I like to pamper my pets and make a big place for them to live but I just could not do that for my Hoggies so I adopted them out to someone who had a better setup.

My friend has a hedgehog ^^ They're adorable, but her's gets scared really easily so when you try to pet him he stabs you with his spikes o.o'

Hedgehogs are completely adorable, but I like pets that you can go up to and hug. Hedgehogs are out of that category!

I'd go for a breeder with any animal. When you get one from a pet store, there's a good chance it wont like people and wont be used to being handled. Breeders(if they're good) will handle and hand feed the animal when they're a baby, so they'll be used to people and friendly.

I made the mistake of buying my parakeet at a pet store >.< She hates people.
