Sakura jumped and pulled away when she heard Light.

L pulled away and rested his chin on his knees, not turning around to face Light. "You could always watch the cameras, Light."

Sakura crossed her legs and sat back in her chair.

Light sat up and turned to the monitors. "Fine... Just stop kissing..."

L span around in his chair, still resting his chin on his knees. "Why do you care that much, Light?" He tilted his head, staring at Light.

Light looked over at L. "It's just disgusting to sit next to two people who are sucking each other's faces. Ya know that?"

Sakura sighed, glancing up at the monitors.

L tilted his head even more, now resting his hands on his knees. "I had to sit through your dates with Misa."

Light frowned, thinking this over for a second. "Alright, alright.... Fair enough...." he said reluctantly. "Kiss away..."

Sakura looked over at L, her eyebrows raised.

L tilted his head and watched Light, pushing a thumb to his lip. "Do you like Misa, Light?"

Light nodded stiffly. "Yes, of course I like her..." he lied smoothly, a smile planted on his face.

"It didn't seem like you did on the dates," L said, tilting his head even more and chewing on his thumb.

"As I've told you before... I'm a bit shy when it comes to expressing feelings..." Light muttered, tapping his fingers on the desk.

"And as I told you, there's no need to be shy," L saidd with a small smirk. "Where has she been lately, anyway? I thought you were moving in with her."

Light scowled. "She got a huge movie roll in America." he told L dismissively.

"Don't you miss her?" L asked, not aware of how annoying he was being.

 

[nokotchi]

"Yes, I miss her..." Light raised his eyebrows. "Wouldn't you miss Tala if she had to go away somewhere?"

L ignored the question in favour of tilting his head to the other side, staring at Light. "You don't seem like you do."

Light smirked. "When have I been one to show my emotions?"

 

[.chasm.]

L turned away from Light a bit, looking up at the screens. "When you punched me in the face."

 

[nokotchi]

Light snickered and shrugged. "True... I do really miss Misa, though... I wish she'd come back.." he muttered, somehow managing to distort his face, fake longing shrouding his eyes.

"When she does, will you kiss her?" L asked, lifting his hand to his mouth again and biting him thumb.
