Death Gods Only Eat Apples

Sakura just continued to gently kiss L, not daring to go any farther.

Light was still making his way through the corridors, seeing the entrance to the main room just ahead.

L slid his chair even closer to Sakura's, pulling his legs in close so he could get closer to her. He moved his hands slightly, resting them on her hips.

 

[nokotchi]

Sakura still didn't try to deepen the kiss, even though she was tempted to.

Light took a single silent step into the main room and spotted L and Sakura. He tilted his head and furrowed his brow, his mouth open as if he were about to say something. He crossed his arms and stared for a moment, trying to figure out exactly what was happening.

L continued to kiss Sakura, not realising that Light had walked in to the room. He tilted his head even more, leaning in closer so he could start to wrap his arms around Sakura's waist.

Sakura finally deepened the kiss, worried what L would do. She also didn't notice Light was there.

Light just nodded when he finally figured it out. He stepped back into the shadows of the corridor, watching them.

L didn't pull away this time, copying what Sakura was doing instead of leaning backwards.

Sakura was surprised but happy with L's reaction. She pulled him slightly closer, continuing the kiss.

Light shook his head and snickered. "Oh, the team's going to be shocked tomorrow..." he whispered to himself. He decided he would let this go on for a bit longer before stepping in and saying something.

 

[.chasm.]

L wrapped his arms tightly around Sakura, still careful to avoid touching her stomach. He shifted in his seat again, turning to he side so his knees weren't in the way.

Sakura deepened the kiss slightly more, holding L as close to herself as possible.

Light shook his head, deciding to give them a few more moments.

L twisted around even more so he could pull Sakura closer, tilting his head even more

 

[nokotchi]

Sakura wrapped her arms tightly around L's neck, happy that L hadn't pulled away this time around.

Light sighed and walked into the room. "How touching...."

 

[.chasm.]

L broke away from Sakura when he heard Light, turning to stare at him. "Light, why are you up so late?" he said quite calmly.

 

[nokotchi]

Sakura sighed and pulled back, glaring at Light.

Light stood in the middle of the room. "Well, I couldn't sleep so I decided to come in here and see how surveillance was going..... So, I stumbled upon this lovely scene."

 

[.chasm.]

L rested his hands on his knees and tilted his head, staring at Light. "Does that mean you want to help with surveillence?"

 

[nokotchi]

Light shook his head. "Not exactly... I just needed to walk around a bit," he yawned. "I'm already getting sleepy again." he lied, not really desiring to help.

Sakura crossed her arms and stared at the screens, not saying anything.

L tilted his head to the the other side, staring at Light with owl eyes. "You could still help us with the surveillence if you wanted," he said

 

[nokotchi]

Light shook his head. "Nah, I won't be much help. I just wanted to see how things were going." He turned and left.

Sakura sighed and glanced over at L.

 

[.chasm.]

L watched Light leave, his eyes still wide. He turned to Sakura, tilting his head. "That's one way for Light to find out"

 

[nokotchi]

Sakura continued to look over at L. "Yup...."

 

[.chasm.]

He twisted himself around so he was fully facing Sakura again. "Can we go back to..." he trailed off again, pushing his thumb to his lip.
