Sakura shook her head. "Probably not in front of the team......" she told him, looking over the monitors.

"Oh..." L glanced at Sakura, pulling his hand away from his mouth. "So can we make the most of this time?"

Sakura turned to L and smiled. "Sure...."

L turned around in his seat, tilting his head and staring at Sakura with wide eyes.

Sakura slid her chair over to L. She smiled at him and wrapped her arms around his neck, leaning in.

L slid forwards in his chair, his hands hovering in the air for a moment before resting of Sakura's shoulders again.

Sakura leaned in the rest of the way and gently placed her lips on his.

L kissed back this time, leaning closer to Sakura and gripping her shoulders tightly.

Sakura was slightly shocked that L kissed back this time. She snapped out of her shock after a split second and deepened the kiss.

L pulled away slightly, loosening his grip on Sakura's shoulders and sliding back.

Sakura placed her hand on the back of L's head as before, less forceful this time. She was just trying to encourage L to not pull away.

L continued to lean back, opening his eyes and dropping his hands from Sakura's shoulders.

Sakura frowned when L pulled back. "What's wrong?"

 

[.chasm.]

L paused, staring at Sakura. "What were you doing?" he asked quietly.

Sakura tilted her head slightly. "I was kissing you..."

 

[.chasm.]

"I know," L said, frowning sliightly. "Buut you did something different."

Sakura met eyes with L. "Well, I deepened the kiss a bit.... Is that what you're talking about?"

L tilted his head, still staring at Sakura with wide eyes, then nodded. "That."

 

[nokotchi]

"I won't do it anymore if you don't like it." Sakura told L, dropping her arms from around his neck.

L rested his chin on his knees, his arms hanging by his sides. "Is there still cookies left?"
