did u know pokemon is one of the most successful games ever? it's been going on for, how long, 15 yrs.? maybe less, but it's really popular, even now, and even kids in high school likes pokemon! i'm serious my bro has a friend (who is in high school) that isn't into anime or video games, yet he likes pokemon! that's how popular it is! without pokemon, most games today won't have HP or health bars or moves in it.

HP and health bars have been in games longer... way before Pokemon was created.

Dragon Warrior/Quest had HP. Megaman had health bars. Some platformers had health bars. FInal Fantasy had HP. Many games had moves way before Pokemon as well.

I've never seen an RPG-fighting game without HP/MP bars.

You correct in the sense that most(non rpg) games wont have health bars. But nearly all RPG games do, which is the genre Pokemon falls under.

I went to toys r us yesterday to get the music star and it said they had Platinum in :l. I got really excited.

Here were my steps

1. Calm down

2.Scream like a maniac

3. Run to the electronics section

4. Grab the music star

5. Look for Platinum. They weren't there.

6. Ask clerk.

7. Clerk doesnt know what pokemon is >.>
