I really want the crown, thats like 1,000,000 bells. I dont wanna cheat and use action replay, but i'm too lazy to raise money. Help??
P.s. I only need 1 bug! (stupid mole cricket!)
So... what help are you asking for? :)

I'm not sure I understand...

The only way to get 1 mill bells is to earn it playing the game or to cheat with AR and create enough money bags.

Unless you want someone here on TamaTalk to give you 1 mill bells because you are too lazy to play the game and earn the money or use AR to cheat and make the money?

(Even if you got an offer from someone, it's possible that the money they give you is from AR, so it's still cheating)

Sorry, but I think you have to decide between earning it fairly or using AR...

It's not long before mole crickets are back in season - November thru May ;)

I have no idea :)
But why would you say no? You don't have to pay Nook any money for the bigger house - the repayments are totally up to you you can pay (or not pay) whenever you want.

I think if you say no then that's it - no more offers.

The offer to build a bigger house is only triggered when you have paid off your mortgage. I can't think of any other scenario where you could trigger an offer from Nook to build a bigger house. Unless (maybe) you create a new character ... although I am not sure that would work either.
Hmm...well, I could expand my house a little bigger, at least 'til I get a second floor and a room on the left, then maybe that'll be good enough for me. =) If I decide not to expand all the way, I'll post how it works.

Poop.I lost my AC:WW chip.

I'm trying to find it. This is torture! ._.
Ouch, that's nasty for sure...I would HATE having to buy the game again and restart. O_O The horror!

This is very random, yet still related to ACWW. Anyway

OMYGOSH I SAW A RAINBOW IN MY TOWN'S SKY TODAY!!!

THAT never happened before! =O I didn't even know it COULD happen.

Awww. I've never seen a rainbow on AC. So, I guess I'll just write about my town!

Town Name: Zoo York (Like New York, except there's animals, so it's Zoo York! xD)

Human residents: Breanna, Kimbo, and Beck

Animal Resdents: Annabelle, Peanut, Poncho, Aurora, Lobo, Tipper, Kiki

Store: Nook-Way

House size: 2nd floor

Fruit: All!

I also have roads all over the place, and I'm working on getting a perfect town!

Oooh I had Peanut! She was a fave of mine. =) And Poncho's in my town right now!

I had an animal resident move out around a week ago...still no new resident. =(

Yeah, I went like two weeks without having someone new move in. I thought that maybe everyone would leave and then the game would end xP

EDIT: Just wanted to add some more.

I was just playing it and I caught a butterfly and Lobo started clapping! It was so cool! That's one of my favourite things! I have a ton more, like when animals fall in pitfalls, and when they just randomly give you stuff.

Ugh, there are a couple annoying things that seem to be wrong with my ACWW game. I don't know if they are glitches or what, but these are the problems...

-I had a character move out over two weeks ago. Maybe three weeks ago. No new character has come yet and I wonder what's wrong!

-Supposedly if you try looking hard enough, you can find up to three fossils a day. I was able to do this fine before, maybe overlooking a fossil every now and then, but I would at least find 2 if I couldn't find 3. Now, I've thoroughly searched my town's grounds, and in the past month there have been almost NO fossils at all! I've only found about two or three the past month, each one on different days.

Ok, these "problems" cropped up after two events:

-I created a second character (to fix the glitch of having Nook store specials and sales). After that, it would take longer for a new character to move in even if an old one moved out (this was my experience the last time I played the game before I rebuilt my town. After making more than one character, that was what happened, but a new neighbor would almost always move in after nearly a week). Except that now, still no new animal friends!

-I did a lot of time traveling so I could pay off my last mortgage. But other times I have time-traveled, and I did not have problems with a character moving out or moving in.

Anybody have an idea for what's up with my game?

The Fossil thing:

Are you playing in real time (like is it fall / November in your town)?

I've found fossil hunting always (always, always) gets more difficult during October and November. The reason? Because the ground and grass is changing colour. The colours are very similar to the colour of fossil cracks and so the cracks are really difficult to spot at this time of year.

The ground changes colour to greys and whites at the end of November and that is when the cracks become more visible again. I usually spend a little more time looking at the edges of the grassy areas - that's where you usually see the more visible cracks.

The Villager moving in thing:

I don't have any idea about this one. There should always be 8 animal villagers living in your town. Sometimes one moves out and it goes down to 7 villagers. But it only takes a day, maybe two or up to 3 days for a new animal to move in and replace the last villager. Never weeks.

I can only guess that the time travelling might have changed things.

As far as having an extra character to generate specials and sales is concerned - I think that is a myth.

I've seen several posts on forums from reliable, respected members who have successfully run towns with just one human character and still got the specials and sales.

Maybe, if it is still early days, you should delete your extra character and stop time travelling? The effects of time travel usually take around 7 days to clear so don't be too hasty to think that it hasn't worked.

As for the extra animal villager - it would probably help if you could connect with another game - by DS > DS with a local friend or on wifi. That might kick start the moving in/moving out sequence?

Good Luck.

1. Yup, I'm playing in real time (and I found two fossils today by the way!) and I agree with you that it's a lot harder to find fossils, but I scan the ground pretty carefully and my eyes light up on a crack. The problem wasn't entirely FINDING cracks, it was just finding cracks with fossils. I'd find a crack and get all excited, then walk over it and find out it's a pitfall. Ah well.

2. No, I do not think that having an extra character to generate specials and sales is a myth. Before I reset my ACWW game, I made another character soon after my first, so I didn't notice the absence of specials. But when I restarted my game around the beginning of September this year (I think) I noticed there was not a SINGLE special or sale EVER. And I went with just one character for a while until the beginning of this month when I made a second character, and the next day, there was a shop special. I've read that this is a glitch in the game and you just need to make a second character and delete them later if you want.

I have not time traveled since that time a few weeks ago. I only time travel by one or two hours now (like from 7 AM to 8 AM so I can go shopping before school), and that small amount has not affected me before.

I kind of get the feeling that you're right about having a Wi-Fi visitor to kick start my neighbor system again. I should probably try meeting up with someone from the Animal Crossing Community site in the next few days. =P I haven't had a visitor since before the time traveling event.

Thanks TamaMum!

Here's a tip you might find useful.

Next time you dig up a pitfall seed, take it up to one of the far corners at the back wall of your town and bury it - right against the cliff, in a space you don't walk over much.

When there is one pitfall seed buried in a town, you don't get any more appearing as cracks any where else - so after you do this, every other crack will be either a fossil or a gyroid ;) (plus, you will never have to suffer the indignity of accidentally falling into a pit XD)

The pitfalls turn up in the Lost & Found with Booker the gate dog - so you can still use them on friends / neighbours / as presents in letters.

I started to play AC:WW again today. Since it's been like 5 months, my town sucks O:

I just gotta find the time to clean it up. (About 3 hours should do lol)

EDIT: Ohyeah. I pretty much only started playing it because I wanted to WI-FI my friends (we got wi-fi yesterday =D)

Really?? I never knew that! Thanks a lot! I'll try that tomorrow. =D

P.S. This is random...but does anybody have cherries? I got all the other fruits but those. =)

Oh yeah, I was just wondering if it matters in ACWW what blood type you have because I used to think I was AB (I can't remember how far back) but I'm actually A (and I can't remember when I found out) and I can't remember which of the two I answered when I reset my game. =S It probably doesn't matter, but little things like that bug me. Actually, the last time I reset my game (few months ago) I seem to remember something where a character only asked me for my birthdate, but not my blood type so it may not matter which I answered if I was never asked (which would be odd). SO, in short, does it affect gameplay a little depending what blood type you have? Like interactions between characters...?

OOOh yeah! I planted my first ever successful money tree! I think the moneybags are supposed to regrow every three days, so I should get more bells tomorrow lol. Anyway, I first planted 30,000 bells, then after the tree grew, got three bags of 30,000, which = 90,000 bells. Pretty neat! Then I chopped it down and planted 90,000 bells (I got a lot of extra cash now that I've finished paying that mortgage), but when it grew I just got bags of 30,000 instead of 90,000. Ah well, 90,000 per picking is pretty good! So I've planted 3 or 4 (can't remember) more trees (Each a bag of 30,000 bells) and they'll be fully grown in a couple of days. :nyatchi: IF the money tree growing is successful, it's much easier than picking 20 foreign fruit trees daily and then selling all the fruits (which is what I did for most of my mortgage paying) which would only get me 30,000 bells a day. So if you are able to successfully grow a bunch of money trees (and have enough spare cash to risk NOT being successful), it's much faster and easier!

By the way TamaMum, I like the red quote you have. ^_^
