Faylinn shook her head. "Nah. You're just being paranoid!" She tugged on his hand, looking at the other two. "Come on, let's get out of this station before another train arrives along with an even bigger crowd."

Ember, unaware that Damien had suspicions, slipped into the crowd coming out and going in, easily mixing with them.

Damien nodded. "Yeah, I guess you're right." he said, kissing Faylinn on the cheek.

Faylinn smiled, relaxing under Damien's kiss. "Now, stop stressing. We made it to Seattle, didn't we?" She said, squeezing Damien's hand.

From not too far away Ember saw the affectionate exchange between Faylinn and Damien, and his eyes narrowed.

Faylinn nodded, matching Damien's grin as they fought their way through to the entrance/exit. She glanced around, checking to see if Eon and January were still with them. "You two okay there?"

So they were together? Well, that explained a lot. Ember's hands clenched into fists now as he pushed his way through the people. To hell with being subtle, Ember had to get those two and take them to the council before he unleashed some elemental fury.

Eon looked at January. "Uh, yeah, we're fine."

Damien still couldn't get the thought of Ember out of his head.

"Good good." Faylinn smiled, making a small noise when someone pushed into her. "Urgh. Can we hurry up?"

Ember had taken a diversion, ducking through a small store in the station and heading out the other side, into an alley outside of the building that Faylinn and Damien should end up passing.

By now Faylinn was starting to get nervous, but she laughed it off. "Hey, now look what you've done! You've made me paranoid!"

"Oh, sorry Fay." Damien said. "Dont' worry, he's dead, I was just being paranoid." he added, passing the alleyway Ember was in.

Irony. I like it.

Faylinn was about to speak when Ember's voice cut her off, a hand clenching on her shoulder. "Wrong." He said calmly, before tugging her backwards into the alley. He had aimed to grab Damien as well, but hadn't banked on others being with them and had grabbed Eon instead.

Eon didn't react quick enough and was on the floor in no time. Damien ran into the alley and pinned Ember to the wall. "That was the dumbest thing you have ever done." he said, throwing Ember into the other wall.

Growling, Ember released Faylinn before he was thrown into the wall, quickly getting to his feet. For once, he used an element other than fire, whippig up some air to keep Damien at bay as he returned to Faylinn. "And that was the dumbest thing you've ever done."

It didn't take long for Damien to fight off the air, and he landed on the ground. "Stay away from her!" he yelled, charging at Ember.

"Why should I?" Ember yelled, blasting Damien again. "You both killed me, why should I leave her alone?"

Damien jumped back a little. "Because...because I love Fay and I'm not going to let you hurt her!" he yelled, tackling Ember to the ground. "I've killed you before, i can kill you again."

Ember glanced at Eon. "I have no idea who you are, but if you're smart, you'll get out of here." He turned back just in time to see Damien dive towards him, hitting the ground with a thud before bringing out a name he thought would faze Damien. "I'm sure Scarlett'll just bring me back again!"

"After you fail? No, I think she's smarter than that." Damien said, beginning to punch Ember.

"I'm not going to fail." Ember said through gritted teeth. "I picked up a trick while I was there." He didn't reveal it just yet, preferring to knee Damien in the stomach.
