"Yup.." January said quietly, standing up and stretching a little. She handed Eon his ticket and grabbed her backpack.

"Okay, but if he doesn't come quietly, you know what to do." Scarlett said, before leaving the room and heading towards Faylinn's room.

Eon smiled and got up, following January.

Rain nodded, going to Damien's room. "Trial time."

After a few minutes Faylinn had been dragged downstairs, abd was beibg restrained by Scarlett as they waited for the others.

Faylinn tried to contact Damien, but once again found it wasn't possible. Scarlett laughed. "Oh, chin up."

"Damien Valri, do you plead guilty or innocent for the following charges; Killing other immortals, revealing himself to mortals, killing mortals in broad daylight, befriending mortals, drinking from a mortal but not killing them, turning someone into a vampire without us approving, and falling in love with a mortal?" Rain asked.

"I plead guilty of all but one." Damien said solemnly. "I have not fallen in love with a human." he added.

"So what feelings do you have for this human?" Rain asked, referring to Faylinn. "Oh, sorry for the confusion dear. Since you are an illegally turned vampire, we still refer to you as a human." he explained.

"Great, so I'm illegal?" Faylinn asked, although her voice was weak as she struggled against Scarlett. "Wait! What happens to Damien if he's pleaded guilty..?"

Rain ignored Faylinn's question. "Well?"

"I don't have any feelings for her." Damien muttered, although it was loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Oh, good. Now let the execution begin..." Rain said. He showed no emotions, he just blasted Damien with energy.

Faylinn screamed, partly because of Damien, partly because she was feeling his pain. "NO! You CAN'T!" Once again she tried to get away from Scarlett, but she held fast, watching the boys with a smirk on her face.

"Oh yeah, your empathy link..." Rain realized. "Scarlett, can you disable that for me?"

"Fine." Scarlett said, pulling Faylinn back again. The pain went, but Faylinn kept yelling. "Damien, for crying out loud, fight him!"

Damien heard Faylinn, and snapped out of it. The next energy attack Rain launched was deflected, and Rain went flying through the glass wall behind him.

Scarlett growled, releasing Faylinn and diving at Damien. She knocked him to the ground, pushing... wait for it... ghost magic into him as she dug her nails into his skin. "Give it up, Damien. You know I'm stronger than you."

Damien pushed Scarlett off of himself. "Leave me alone!!!" he yelled, blasting Rain and Scarlett with all the energy he had, including ghost magic.

Scarlett shrieked, but managed to hit Damien's head off the floor in time with what she was saying. "No! I - have - waited - too - long - to -punish - you!" She glanced at Rain. "Get the girl. See if he co-operates when her life's in danger!"

Damien was red with anger. "If you touch her..." he didn't need to make a threat, he blasted them away from Faylinn.

Scarlett growled in anger, punching Damien straight in the face. And again. And once more. Until out of nowhere Faylinn came running, speeding at Scarlett and managing to pin her to the floor.

Damien blinked, not believing what he saw. He walked over, and blasted Scarlett in the face.

Scarlett screamed and flinched away, but only because she rolled over so Faylinn was now the one pinned down. As Faylinn struggled, Scarlett shook her hand, and for a brief moment you could see the blue spark indicating electricity. "One more move, dear Damien, and your little girlfriend gets all these lovely volts straight to her chest."
