Axel nodded, "I'd like that. It'd be nice to get to know my dad." He frowned a little, "Eighteen years is a long time. And all that time I never knew my real dad." He raised an eyebrow when Tarou mentioned his ability, "Turning into a hamster cause you to lose track of time? I mean, I guess there's like a difference between a human and a hamster, but losing track of time because of that? It's a little weird. Are you just trying to give me a weird excuse?" Axel shrugged it off, then attempted to smile a little, "It's okay. I bet my mom just kinda wanted to forget about both of us, you know? Probably why she didn't tell you, and probably since it was just a one-night stand, right?" He looked at Dixie, "At least I wasn't totally defenseless. I had my fire powers, and I knew how to use them since I was like, two. At least, I knew that I had them. I didn't really get control over them for a while, though. I'm glad you care, though. That means a lot to me. I bet you would've raised me pretty well."

Dixie smiled at Nagoya, wondering what she was going to do with both Eli and him. She knew that they didn't really get along together well, but she just wanted to be happy with both of them. and she was also pretty oblivious about how much they fougt was because of her.

“We should change that, then.” Tarou smiled at him. At the mention of his hamster ability as such, he paused time for just long enough to walk over to the other side of Axel, then started time back up again. It appeared as though he had teleported. Done with his display, he continued talking as though he hadn’t done anything extraordinary. “Nah, no excuses.” He smiled at him, “Yeah, she was, you know, a hooker… Well anyway, I’m not gonna try to forget about you.” He patted his shoulder, then laughed, “A two year old pyromaniac, huh? I could handle that. I’d be a good dad. Too late now, though.”

Nagoya was just enjoying being this close to Dixie, for now.

Annie dozed off quickly, her head falling onto Shadow's shoulder. She hadn't felt so at ease in a very long time, and it made resting much easier for her. She looked over at Shadow one last time, kissing his cheek before letting herself fall asleep in his arms. The wind was warm, which was strange for the night, It rocked the hammock gently, like a cradle.

Selena got to her feet and began to pace back and forth, her hands held behind her back. This was the talk she had wanted to avoid for as long as she could. He'd met her father once before, but he had changed so much since then. He was now very stern as a businessman, and not to mention a doctor and psychiatrist. "Well... his power is to control people's minds and wills. He used that to make people do whatever he wanted them to. And instead of killing people by his own hand, he makes them kill themselves. He does experiments on them, blackmails people, and he steals money from a lot of sources."

Axel totally freaked out when Tarou appeared on his other side, "O-Oh my god how did you do that?!" He had his fists clench, "Seriously, man, don't surprise me! I'll like, burn you!" He eventually calmed down, then looked at Tarou questioningly, "What was that all about? How did you do that? Did you like, use your freaky hamster powers at super fast speed?" He laughed a little, "If she was a hooker I doubt she'd make a very good mom. In fact..." Axel looked at the ground, "I'm really glad that she didn't like, abort me or something. It's scary to know that could've happened to me. Especially since you'd think hookers would want to keep their body the same way... I'm glad you won't forget about me. At least, not on purpose." He said quietly, and shook his head, "Anyway. I think you would. I guess I misjudged you from when I first met you. I used to be freaked out by you. Not as much, anymore. At least I have you now, you know? Even if you are like, part hamster." He smirked.

Dixie swung his hand, "Nagochan, Nagochan, Nagochan! <3"

Brushing her thumb over his hand gently, Megan smiled; she couldn't have asked for a better period of time, and was so thankful that she could spend it with XovoX. Butterflies rushed through her stomach, although she had no idea if this was because of the flight or because XovoX was holding her - could she possibly be crushing on him? Honestly, Meg didn't know, and to savour this moment she kept her mouth shut.

Luca shot up from her bed, panting. She looked around her empty dorm and groaned. "My nightmares still haunt me endlessly.." She trailed off before shifting her position so she was sitting on the edge of her bed. After a few moments of thought, she left her bedroom again even though she may of had thirty minutes worth of sleep or less.

Eli frowned a little at this, but tried his best to ignore it. "So, are we gonna leave soon?", he asked a little impatiently. He wasn't sure if being at the party would be any different than what was happening now, but he hated to just stand there. Not only because of his general hating to stand still, but he hated to just stand and watch. It made him feel... he didn't exactly know. Maybe jealousy, maybe confusion, maybe something deeper. He still wasn't sure if Dixie thought anything more of Nagoya than just a little brother or as something more.

"You doing all right there?", asked XovoX. She hadn't spoken in a while, so she was either parlyzed with fear, or she was enjoying it. He preferred to assume the latter, but he felt that he should make sure. He felt like he cared about her, which he hadn't done for anyone in a long while. He had forgotten for now why he hadn't, it was really nice to be close to someone like this for a change.

Shadow peeked out of one eye very subtly, in a way that if anyone were to see him, they wouldn't be able to tell. He saw that Annie appeared very asleep. He opened his eyes and just watched her sleep. She looked so innocent, so pure. It was as if all of the seclusion and sorrow that she had had prior to right now hadn't existed, and she was as oblivious to it as a baby. He decided to stay away and watch her, he loved to see her like this.

ooc: I drew XovoX and Shadow in height comparison and Shadow's eyes are like 6 inches. D:

Grey took a moment to take this all in, and then rested his forehead on his palm. "Wow... he must have made quite a name for himself, huh?" he forced a dry laugh, which faded quickly. "What are we going to do, Selena...?", he asked. "That's unforgivable. And what do the heroes think, then?" he just sat there after that, thoughts and worries racing through his head.

ooc: Selena's dad very much interests me.

And that reminds me, I've got to think up a hero.

Right now I'm going through a semi-breakdown, so this post will be horribly short. Apologies.

Annie remained asleep for about a half hour, until she stirred and sat up slightly. She looked around, then remembered what had happen and where she was. She smiled slightly, then looked over at Shadow.

Selena said, "I honestly don't know. i mean... I want to talk to my dad, but I'm afraid of what could happen. My brothers are all leading civilian lives, so I don't want to get them involved either. This is so scary..."

Megan nodded, even if XovoX wasn't able to see, she couldn't speak. Maybe it was because of how happy she was, of how calm and peaceful she was when she was with him, this is the first time she's cared like this about somebody..ever. Gently stroking his hand, she smiled happily to herself and waited for him to land. After all.. she was clueless about where she was now, and was totally relying on XovoX to lead her back.

@Bunny: A breakdown? Are you serious? D: Why?

@Ducky: I totally would if I had a scanner, but I won't be near a scanner until about two weeks from now. /D I actually drew XovoX and Megan as a size comparison on a notecard, too. It's just a fail drawing, though. XD

XovoX slowed down gradually, tilting his lower half forward as he did. He landed on the ground on his feet, having to take a few steps before completely stopping. Other than that, it was a smooth landing, though. He set Megan down gently and brushed the both of them off. "So, what did you think?", he asked a bit awkwardly.

Shadow sort of blushed a pale grey color, as he had been watching her the whole time. He quickly shook it off, though. "Up so soon?", he asked with a smile.

Grey nodded. "It really is.", he said and considered the options. "Well, I don't really want to get your dad involved. He would probably either find some reason to cancel the wedding or just kill all of the heroes, and to be honest, I don't want that. I'm sure they try to do what they think is right, even if ignorantly." he tried to think up some possible solution, but couldn't. So he kept quiet.

@ PG: My family. I can't wait until the fall when I move out of the house and into a dorm.

"Yeah... I usually don't sleep for long periods of time. Normally I just sleep for a little bit, then stay awake for a long time, with maybe a couple naps in between," Annie told him, smiling back at him.

Selena sat down next to him and sighed, burying her face in her hands. "I'm sorry for bringing you into this crazy life of mine. You don't deserve any of this crap. I... I'm releasing you from our engagement. You don't have to stay with me anymore."

ooc: I totally want to make a new character, but I think it would be too hard to write for 5 characters (Especially since I'm on an iPod a high majority of the time). But if some genius idea pops into my head, I will make one.

Shadow laughed a bit. "Well, that's too bad. You're adorable when you sleep."

Grey put one hand on her shoulder and gently lifted her chin up to face him with his other. "No." he said flatly, then continued, "Selena, if I were chained to the Earth, I would still run to you. If my arms were broken, I would still try to hold you in them. If the gods themselves were to block me from you, I would find a way around them." his voice lowered to a soft, caring tone. "Selena, I love you. And nothing will keep us apart."

Annie laughed lightly, then rubbed her eyes gently before looking up at Shadow. "Did you sleep at all, or was I the only one that was out of it?" She tilted her head, somewhat embarrassed that she had fallen asleep on him. She hadn't meant to, it had just... happened.

Selena wrapped her arms around Grey, and kissed his forehead. "I don't know what I did to get an amazing guy like you, but... Thank you so much Grey. For everything. I love you too, and you're the only one I want."

Shadow shook his head. "I fell asleep at first, but I can conciously control when I wake up." he smiled. "I just wanted to know what you look like when you're asleep. I hope that isn't creepy."

Grey squeezed her tight and kissed her back. He was clean out of things to say, but he hoped this would suffice.

Name: Dominoe Evander

Age: Sixteen

Gender: Male

Personality: Dominoe is someone who doesn't talk to strangers much, preferring to watch from a distance before approaching someone. He has a habit of hanging out with people who get high or drunk, seeing as that's when he can use illusions in front of them without much suspicion. Doing so has earned him the reputation of a mysterious figure who only appears during these times, almost like a ghost. He uses his mastery of illusions to trick people into thinking that he wasn't involved in any crime he has committed, although he always leaves an imprint of a key whenever he finishes a job.

Looks: He stands at average height, about 5'8", and is a little heavier than average. He has short, spiked, blonde hair and a rat-tail at the back of his head, with pink eyes, that are always covered with a pair of goggles. He only takes off his goggles when performing illusions or if he trusts someone enough. He has a habit of wearing long earrings, and there's always a blood red key tied loosely on a string around his neck. His clothing usually consists of button up dress shirts or sweaters, and equally dressy pants. He wears gloves on his hands most of the time.

ooc: haha awww, well i can wait that long! ;D n'awww, it's kind of a weird couple but it's cute too, if they even are a couple? haha

 

 

Megan stood up after they had landed, she was speechless and couldn't gather up any words in her head. Instead of thanking him with words she ran up to him and cuddled him, nuzzling her head into his chest/stomach. A large toothy grin was planted on her face - she had never been so happy or thankful in her life, this was the nicest thing anybody had done for her.

@Ducky: Haha, then I'll have to draw a whole extra lot to make it worth the wait, mmkay?

They're sort of a couple, I think. But only time will really tell. But I need more of an accurate mental image of what Megan looks like. XD I can't draw her.

This was more than enough to suffice for a 'thank you' for XovoX. He was surprised a bit at first, but then hugged her. (He had to lean down a bit for this, he was nearly two feet taller than her.) He laughed.
