Axel rolled his eyes, "It's basically chile. With vodka." He shrugged, "It's better than gasoline, or even uncooked eggs. Not my brightest idea."

Dixie giggled and petted him, "Yay!"

Tarou took the bottle from him and looked it over, "Did somebody you didn't know who you met at a party when you were drunk tell you to drink those, too?" he asked, and took the cap off of the bottle and sniffed it, "Geesh, that's rank. At least eggs sort of have protein in them. Still sounds gross..." he considered taking a sip of the drink for a short moment, then he thought much better. He put the cap back on, and handed it back to Axel. "I have no clue where you got your tastes from, Kid, but it certainly wasn't me."

Nagoya blushed when she petted him, "So... are we going to go soon?"

Moa unlatched herself from the hug, "Yeah, we should probably go before we miss all the fun and everyone's passed out." the brushed her bangs out of her face and smiled. "Let's go!"

Axel laughed, "You're right about that, Daddy-o. Most of the new things I drink come from people I meet at parties." He took another drink, "It smells nice and spicy, almost burns your nose, right? I love that. It's like liquid fire." He shrugged, attempting to stuff the bottle in his pants pocket, "The eggs were pretty disgusting. I watered them down with anything I could find. Lemons, vodka, chile, limes, more vodka, the list goes on." He looked at Tarou, "Maybe I got them from some crazy distant uncle or something. Do you have a crazy brother?"

"Yeaah! we've gotta pass out, too!" Dixie giggled and grabbed Moa's hand, along with Nagoya's, "We should make a hand holding chain! Then we can arrive in style!" She smiled, obviously over excited for the party, "I can't waaait! <3"

Luca found that she had wondered back to the courtyard and let out a drowsy sigh, though could not be bothered heading back to her dorm, she found it quiet relaxing being outside. She made her way to one of the grassy areas and laid down.

Annie said to Shadow, "I honestly have no idea. Some people say this place is haunted. I don't believe it though. It seems too peaceful for that." She sat down on the shoreline instead of in the hammock, and looked out at the water solemnly. "Whoever was here before... they must have known something about life that most people don't. I still don't know it. It just... this place seems happy, or tranquil, maybe both."

Selena said, "All right, a walk it is!" She got up from her seat and helped clear the table. But then she peered out the window and yelled down to the group that was walking to the party. "Hey! Where are you guys going?" She leaned dangerously far, her torso sticking all the way out into the night air.

XovoX asked her, "Would you like me to take you into the sky, then?"

Eli changed into a hawaiin shirt.

ooc: I always wear Hawaiin shirts. Is love.

Shadow looked around. "Yeah, it certainly is nice and simple. Perhaps a hero built it?"

Grey pulled Selena back in a little so she didn't lean out so far. "You're making me nervous, honey.", he said.

Annie said, "I like to believe it was just an ordinary person. No powers, no battles to wage, no vendettas. Just a simple person who wanted the simplicity of peace." She got up and led Shadow over to the hammock, before climbing in as gracefully as she could.

"I'm fine, Grey," Selena giggled. She waved at Dixie and the others wildly. "Hi guys! You look so small from up here! Then again... you guys are smaller than me anyway... well, some of you!"

Dixie looked up, "Oh, hi, Selena!" She yelled, smiling, "We're going to a party! Moa, Axel, Nago, Daddy and I are all going! You guys wanna come? It's gonna be super fun!" She giggled, "It's some party Axel knows of, so there's gonna be a lot of crazy people and lots of drinking! You guys up for it?!" She bounced a little, "You look really small, too!"

Also, I thought Selena was pretty short.

Shadow smiled. "Yeah, that is a nice thought." He looked around a bit more (making small, inaudible comments about what he saw as he did) before laying down next to her.

@v3: I've decided Captive never happened. But I will still attempt to write it.

Eli ran up to Dixie (He still has the hawaiin shirt.) and huffed. "What about me?"

Grey scratched the back of his head. "It just makes me nervous is all."

Selena said, "Of course we want to party! Me and Grey will be down in just a few minutes! Hold on a second!!!" Selena came back inside and shut the window. "C'mon Grey, we're going to a party! I'm so pumped!" She changed clothes really fast, so she was wearing a bold tee shirt and skinny jeans, with a pair of sneakers.

Annie said, "Shadow... how do you see things? I mean... do you see colors the same way humans do, or do your eyes perceive other things? I've always wondered about it."

Megan nodded, a sweet smile appearing on her face. "Yeah." Although she was quite nervous, she wouldn't let it show - that was rule number one on her list, hide all weaknesses, that way you couldn't get hurt.

@Bunny: Most of them are older than 16... But whatever, I get what you mean.

I think it was actually pretty characteristic of both of them, so yeah. It works, especially with the relationship they have, Shadow's sort of a comforter.

Grey looked down at his everyday suit. "I pretty much only have suits, so I don't know what to change into... And I'm not really much of a party person, so maybe I should just stay..."

"Well, if you were to see the color red, and be told it was red, that color would invariably be red for you. If I saw a different color, and was told it was red, that would be red fore, unchangingly. So we can never really know, unless we are that person.", Shadow said, then concluded: "So I'm not sure."

ooc: The idea of aternate perception of colors has always intrigued me.

XovoX took her up in his arms, getting a safe yet comfortable hold on her, and then flapped his wings powerfully, lifting them up into the sky.

ooc: The design for XovoX's wings is anything but aerodynamic in the real world. XD

Dixie smiled, "Yay! Oh, and Eli, too! I wasn't sure if he was coming or not." She giggled, then turned to Eli, "You can hold Nago's other hand, cause Moa's gotta hold Axel's. <3 It'll be an awesome party, so we should stop walking and wait for them." She stopped walking, and looked at all of the people around her, starting to get even more excited than she already was, if that was even possible.

Axel, although he was happy that more people were coming to the party, was also a little more nervous, especially since Tarou was going to be there. He had been okay with it when it was just Dixie and Nagoya along with him and Moa, but the thought of more of his friends with Tarou made him just a little more uncomfortable, "Hey, Old Man, you're gonna be with a whole bunch of teenagers, still think you can handle it? You know, loud music, cussing, our wacky styles, aren't typical dads against that?"

"Awwww, but Greyyyyyy! Here, let me do something." She took off his suit jacket, then unbuttoned the first couple buttons of his shirt. She also made sure he wasn't wearing a tie or hat or anything, then messed up his hair a little. "There. Now you look much more casual. Besides, I don't want you to be here by yourself."

Annie nodded and said, "Yes... I guess you're right. It would be interesting to see the world through someone else's eyes for a change." She yawned, then moved closer to Shadow. "Look... there's the big dipper..."

Grey looked down at his getup dissaprovingly. He had dressed nice since he had had to evacuate his old life. He probably always dressed that way to remind him of the responsibility he had now. "Eh... I guess if this is what I should look like..."

Eli nodded. "Okay!" and took Nagoya's hand. He noted how odd it was that just a year or so ago, he would have killed Nagoya on the spot for having had touched Dixie. But as he said earlier, it wasn't Nagoya's fault that he liked her.

Shadow looked up at the stars intently for a bit, then said: "I wonder who shaped all of this, this reality? I'm sure it can't have come about itself, it's just too... Intricate."

Selena said, "Honey, it's just for one night, I promise. Besides, sometimes it can be fun to just lest loose and go crazy. Just not... too crazy, you know?" She did a little spin, then gave Grey a kiss. "Relax? For me?"

Annie said, "I think there is a higher power somewhere. It's comforting to me." She then looked at Shadow. "Thank you for everything."

ooc; aha! well there can be some exceptions, AND WITH EVERYONE BEING LITERATE I'LL JOIN IN?

 

 

Megan took in a deep breath as she felt XovoX's paper-like wings take hold of her, slowly her body started to lift off the ground and the once slight breeze seemed to get heavier, blowing her brunette locks off of her face. She was, of course, extremely scared - who wouldn't be when you're ten thousand feet off the ground?! Gently bringing her petite hands up to her face, she shielded her eyes to try and avoid any insects hitting them, and to stop looking down.

 

This was a great feeling.. but probably one of those 'it was good now you look back on it' ones, because she wasn't enjoying it as much as she should right now. "I'm scared, XovoX!" Megan called, her voice was shaky and a slight frown was visible on her face, this went against every rule - she never admits being afraid.. to anybody.

Grey looked at Selena, and then shrugged. "Well, if it's just one night..." he considered this. "Alright", he said, smiling. "I'll do it for you." He let out a deep breath, letting himself relax physically. His shoulders, which he sort of kept high unconciously, slumped down, and he stood slightly less straight-as-a-ruler than usual.

Shadow broke his intent gaze on the stars to look over at Annie. "You're welcome, I suppose. But may I ask what I'm being thanked for?"

XovoX, who was more used to flying or floating than being on flat ground, had never really understood a fear of being off of the ground. This was because he moved faster while in the air than he did on his legs (he usually stumbled when he ran, as his legs were abnormally straight and unsupportive of his mass) and, most of the time, was on guard for some reason or the other. He wasn't sure of what to say, but his words seemed to find themselves. He slightly tightened his grip on Megan and said softly, "Don't worry. I've got you."

ooc: It takes me like 15 minutes to type this on an iPod. O^o

Selena grinned at him and said, "You get so tense sometimes." She reached up to rub his shoulders gently, trying to make him feel more comfortable. "Now, let's have an awesome time tonight, and just let loose. If things get too crazy for you, we'll leave, and come back here for a party of our own!" She extended her hand to him, and led him out of the dorm building. The nighttime air was like a drug to her, making her feel giddy and excited.

Annie said, "For making me feel like a normal person for once. For showing some sense of affection towards me."
