Axel shrugged, "If I kept it longer, it would get singed way too often." He laughed a little.

"That's true. I guess I'm just able to pull it off better than you could." Tarou said, "But your hair is pretty long, though."

"I like it long." Axel shrugged, "Plus, it reminds me of fire." He smiled a little, "Wait. Lemme see your eyes."

Annie stared up at Shadow and nodded slightly. "Yes... yes, that must be the reason. I've been deprived."

Selena giggled and said, "You can't love me more! I love you more!" She took a bite of her alfredo and scrunched up her face. "Yup, it's s[icy!"

Tarou brushed some hair out of his face so that Axel could see his eyes.

Annie nodded slightly. "Yes... it really has, Shadow. Much too long for my liking..."

Grey laughed and took a bite of his pasta. He shrugged. "Tastes fine to me."

Eli had to stop running to catch his breath. He fell over in exhaustion.

Shadow kissed her gently on the lips. "Just relax", he said softly, "And let me take control of your life for a little while. Then you'll feel much better..."
