Have you been pressing the B button on the Music Star when they're facing each other at the standby screen? That's how I connected mine.

I recommend the Princess Spacey version. I think it's cooler than the Anniversary version. I think it has a couple new places to visit. If you really want something different, I recommend a P's.

Maybe the battery is faulty. It should normally only give the ! Mail twice as an adult. Once when your tama becomes an adult and once after the birth of a baby.

Try Amazon or eBay. Lots of people sell Tamagotchis there.

If your tama is a toddler, you can play Jump Rope at school. If he/she is a teen, you play the music minigame at school. If your tama is getting mad at you, you're probably missing the notes. The teen school game is hard, so it's normal to miss notes.

There's a glitch with V4s and 4.5s where they can't connect if you forget to press reset when you turn it on/change the battery. Just press the reset button and then download your character and it should work fine. A V4 won't connect to another V4 or V4.5 if one of them has low battery power...
