Those early odd pets used very original Tamagotchi type shells. NeonMoo has probably the best ideas for you. A few of my odd pets have that rock paper siscors game. And yep the shells look very much like the original Tamagotchi.

Feed it. Play with it. Don't let it get stepped on. When it is a coccoon, don't cook it or freeze it! It's pretty easy. Enjoy!

It will not work on a V3. That would have been a good feature to incorporate into all the models after.. what is it? I thought the GO had that. It was a good idea that was unfortunately dropped.

Yes, a picture would certainly help. A lot of the 'other' pets had that rock paper siscors game. They were originally modeled after the original Tamagotchi. They tended to be ok and evolved. But yes, always try to include an actual picture of what you are talking about. ;)

I would have to agree with mishi. They are great for a first run through but there isn't a whole lot of replay value unless you make it a Christmas month tradition! I did that for a few years.

Oh, that is a nice one. It's basic. Have you figured out how to set the time? After that, it's just a matter of scanning through the menu and taking care of it. What are you having trouble with?

They are both charming in their own ways. Hard to say which is actually better. If you don't have $300 lying around, I'd try an Angel first.

That is one of the cheapest multi pets. There are few odd pets I'd not recommend but this is one. Do not bother with it.

They show up on ebay occasionally. There were plenty around when they were first issued of course. I even got one. Hardly my favorite design but it is a nice one. :) I'm not sure it has a design name. Problem is that Akai is rare then finding the design is even harder. Keep checking ebay...
