In the past few years, I've had 2. In a ratio, it's not that many, but it is a little sad :( I'd recommend waiting at least another 2 weeks after the expected date before losing all hope. I usually like to think it's out there, somewhere!

You can definitely clean the contacts- both on the board and the underside of the button. I'd only recommend it if you have the correct screwdrivers to get the tiny screws out within the case, but other than that, it's pretty easy! Rubbing alcohol on a Qtip should be good. I've never managed to...

Oh boy, in 2013... about 1/2-2/3 of my collection! I was living at home for a few months after college, yet working full time, so I went a bit crazy :l Wish it were that easy to spend money again, haha!

I've learned how to knit & crochet about 3 times each.. and it's never stuck after a few days, haha. I think I made a few scarves and hand towels, lol. I really do hope to get back into it someday, though.. so neat ^_^ and makes for great gifts!

I typically use two at a time. If I'm bored/have a long weekend or something, I'll go up to 4, but anything past that just becomes too much to carry around haha!

I'd also recommend taking a look at the characters on each! While I enjoy the +Color, I tend to put it away for the P's simply because of the characters.

Yeah, like Hayden said, you can get them on Ebay for $80 :) Probably only pink, purple, and yellow, as those are the rereleased colors. Every few days, I see more pop up at that price. Shouldn't be too hard to snag one ^^
