hi guys :)

potato

so i'm getting an umino soon, and i have a question:

i saw 2 topics here saying the sound of the umino got very lox, one of the topics even saying the sound completely disappeared. as you know, the umino is the HARDEST tamagotchi to take care of, and it can get attacked by a polar bear. the umino will beep when it gets attacked so you can save it.

my question is: what if the sound of my umino doesn't work/ wil disappear after some time? i can't hear when it needs to be saved from an attack, and it will die. so how do i save it then? i know a possibility is to check on it like every 2 minutes, but I really don't want to, that's too much checking on it

aren't there any other possibilities to save it once the sound is broken?

also, when does the polar bear attack? i heard the umino goes to sleep a few times a day, does the polar bear attack only the, or also during the day when it isn't asleep?and what are the times it goes to sleep during the day?(if they have actual times and aren't random)

thank you in advance :)

I've ran an Ocean to adult a few times, and a lot more to child/teen. I've never had it sleep during the day o_o But no, the polar bear doesn't attack while it's asleep (at least from my experiences). Afaik, the times it attacks is random.

The sound on mine seems fine and it's been used a decent amount. If it had no sound then.. well it depends. I was able to watch mine at work by putting it in a cradle and sitting it beside my monitor so I could shift my eyes every minute or two so leaving the sound off was alright. If you plan on keeping it in a pocket or something and don't have sound... good luck :( :(

If it's broken, I'd recommend fixing it with solder or tape or something (if possible), as it would be insanely difficult to keep it from being attacked, haha. I'm sure yours will be fine when it arrives c:

Oh my, good that I am getting a new one from EMF.
Anyway, TF, if the sound would get broken I'd advise you to go to a watchmaker and ask him to solder the wires. Or you can even ask your dad to do it. ;)

I think I made one of the topics you saw!

It's a good habit to check on your Ocean about every 15-30 minutes. Hearts will constantly drop, but otherwise the polar bear attacks are not constant. I would say once about every two to three hours. Your Tamagotchi will take a nap during the day, and that is when the polar bear strikes. The naps last as long as the attack - they are very short. The naps don't have a discernible pattern, however.

I would say that you really need to watch out for sickness and predator attacks. Neglect doesn't seem to cause death as easy as you think.

I haven't had the time to try and fix the sound on my Tamagotchi, but having no sound doesn't mean you won't be able to take care of your fishy. You just need to keep an eye on it. ;)

indeed it was! ;)

i hope you can get the sound fixed and that it won't happen to me! good luck!

actualy, i plan on doing that, so i really really hope the sound isn't broken and won't break. it probably isn't broken, but because other people said theirs got broken, i became woried, so i hope the sound will stay ok :(
