Krystal- that boss was hard for all of us, you're not the only one.

Jae- yeah, once i figured out what to do the first time, i was like 'oh, that was so obvious'. So this time should be easier. I didn't get to it last night because of all the stuff beforehand, with gathering the tears of light, getting the zora boy to kakariko village, etc. I still need to go to the graveyard to get the zora armor. maybe tonight, but the season finale of glee is on, so... limited time, that's all.

i passed the gaurds thanks to my babysitter who has this game and she is farher in the game, im now stuck (again) where you have to find a sword in the training room, WHERES THE TRAINING ROOM :)

^ I forget exactly, but keep looking around Hyrule Castle and you should find it easily. Try going north/up because i seem to remember it being there.

^nice. as fun as spirit tracks was, i feel like it's not a game that i will replay. It's just that the puzzles are challenging the first time, but the second time it seems like they would be easy, and the storyline isn't super-exciting in my opinion. Cute, but not worth a replay. Anyone else agree?

I agree with you -_- - Even though I hadn't completed spirit tracks when my game got deleted, I don't think I will play it again. I just don't think the storyline is as exciting as other Zelda games, like phantom hourglass.

I agree. I mean, I'm not very far in the game (at least I don't think so), but it's not really a re-playable game.

E3 IS FLIPPIN' TUESDAY. I am so ready for Zelda: Wii news. <3

EDIT: OH MY CRAP. WE MISSED THE ONE YEAR CREATION ANNIVERSARY OF THIS TOPIC. D;

Happy birthday, topic. We love you, and the creatorrr! 8DD

Group hug, everyone~!

AND OMG, LEAKED FACTS.

-screams-

1. Zelda Wii’s official title is “The Legend of Zelda”. There will be no subtitle.

2. The game tells a story several hundred years before Ocarina of Time. It also answers the question of how the Master Sword came into being.

3. The fairy-like girl is a very important character in the game. Her Name is Zordiana.

4. The Hookshot is also in the game and it has new abilities. It will not pull you immediately to the target you aimed at. Now it is possible to swing with the Hookshot, like with the Grappling Hook from TWW. The Hookshot makes no use of Wii Motion Plus.

5. Sometimes you have to “draw” a specific symbol on a door with your sword to open it.

6. The Bow controls are very similar to the Bow controls in Wii Sports Resort, as the script shows.

7. There are two levels of difficulty. Aonuma made it though, Miyamoto didn’t want to include it. There is a Normal Mode for amateurs. The Hero Mode has no “Super Guide” included and the enemies are tougher.

8. The on-stage dungeon, which is also playable at E3, isn’t a Dungeon as we know it from the Zelda series. When entering a Dungeon, you will not notice you are in one. It will be a smooth gradation. There will be dungeons with no bosses and bosses with no dungeon. The “dungeon” you are able to play at E3 will be an ice level. It will be the first “dungeon” in the Game.

But wait. The very first Zelda game was called "The Legend of Zelda." How can they have two games with the same title? Even if they are for different systems....Aren't they like, trespassing their own copyright? xDDDD

Zordiana is a mouthful. I'm sorry. I like short names. xDD

I'm kinda mad that there are two difficulty levels. Now when I get its like UHHHHHH WHICH ONE DO I DOOOOO?!

Good point. The Legend of Zelda and The Legend of Zelda (2010)? xDD

Zordiana, I know right? I'll end up calling her Zor or something. Zor.. I wonder if she's supposed to resemble a Zora. O:

Yay~ Happy Birthday topic. Wow, it's already been a year? o_O Time sure flies.

I actually think it's kind of cool that they have the title as "The Legend of Zelda" because it's so simple and doesn't need any add-on. And I'm sooo glad they're making it a prequel! I don't like the sequels much, because for example in ST, there was no master sword, or Hyrule, and that just kinda killed it for me. Also, this leads me to wonder if the Oocca will play any role in this game, because remember the story that Shad tells in TP about how the gods created the sky beings and Hylians simultaneously? Idk, just throwing that out there.

I also love the idea of having smooth transitions into dungeons, because that way it seems much more realistic. Also that there will be dungeons without bosses and vice versa will make it more interesting.

I don't know whether I would choose normal or hero mode. I'm thinking a new game, with a lot of changes, i might want normal mode to help me out a bit, and then go for hero mode my second play through, but then again, i might want to challenge myself since i've had some experience with the series and go for hero mode. also, i feel like hero mode wouldn't be much of a challenge if i've already played normal mode and know what to do essentially. So I'll have to make that decision.

I'M WATCHING THE LIVE STREAM FROM E3.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Solikegraphics. They look so vivid and wonderful. <3 The layout looks a lot like TP. Just better.

And the controls look sick. 8DD

Ohh, and it's called Skyward Sword.

I can't really think right now so I'll post back later. xDDDDDD

I have minish cap I have 12 hearts I'm on the royal crypt but those mummy things keep killing me WAHHH 

Skyward sword you say? Well that name's not half bad. I'm genuinely glad it's not something ridiculous.

Omg, the controls and graphics are gonna be AWESOME. I just hope with the bow and arrows it doesn't get easily disoriented like it does in wii sports resort. But, this game's going to be incredible! It seems like they're changing the series up, but in a good way. I still wonder when it's going to come out.

chollands; That part isn't too hard, just be careful, use your shield, and focus!

Pais; Oh, speaking of which, Miyamoto said that we can expect it next year. ;P But. I'm so happy it's finally coming! And I was one of the 83597425 people who got a first glimpse. x3 The stream I was watching it from, had like 14 thousand viewers. Lololol.

I was so hyper after watching the presentation. I was jumping on my bed, scaring my brother, annoying my mom, and I was running outside barefoot in circles while it was raining.

Too far? NOT A CHANCE. I'm a hardcore Zelda fan. -peacesign-

^LOL

So, by next year does he mean the beginning of next year? Like January? I don't know how much longer I can wait! I'm still getting it the second it comes out, even if it means waiting outside the store at 4 in the morning. Even if it's snowing. And when they start showing commercials for it I'm gonna flip out.

omg, i just watched the official trailer. 8D It reminds me a lot of Ocarina of Time as far as the setting and bright colors that remind me of N64, only much better graphics. The controls look awesome, and it seems like they would be easy to get used to. Just very different. I also expected it to look a lot like Twilight Princess, but it looks a lot different. It almost looks cartoon-y, but more realistic than TWW, and with adult Link rather than toon Link, which is great.

Also, is the official title The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword?

I don't know. He didn't specify the date or anything. Phooey.

The trailer was pretty cool. :) I do like the graphic style. It's not totally realistic, but in a way, it is. xP It's like.. realistically cel-shaded, and I like it. It's a bit more vivid than TP.

I'm curious about the music. 8D I hope Koji Kondo still composed it. <3
