Yuki Penguin won't evolve!?

Ok, so I bought a Yuki Penguin a while back and decided to run it. I read somewhere that the better care you take of it, the faster it will evolve. Well, I watched it 24/7 for about 2 days and a half, but it won't evolve! What's going on? Everything seems fine, the time is correct, and I've been WATCHING IT LIKE A HAWK. Help!

Nothing speeds up evolution. Just be patient.

The Dinkie pets evolve mostly according to how it's fed.

Does feeding affect the time though? I know it affects the characters you get but its been like, 5 days....

How could feeding affect the time? xd No, it doesn't. ^^ They evolve every 2 days.
