Hello hello,

I hope I am posting this in the correct place, if not, oops :/ let me know :)

I recently bought a Yuki Penguin on ebay, I had been wanting one for awhile and got a great deal! Of course we always run the risk of these little guys being defective due to their age but mine seemed to work perfectly fine. It was on its 5th year of life (very exciting) and all of the sudden it reset itself. Nothing hit the reset button, the batteries are new and I didn't shake it or anything (that I know off) and it just reset itself. It has done it twice already so it wasn't a one time thing :( I haven't ever opened up a tama (or non tama in this case) to try and fix it or something, but if there's an expert on fixing them out there that could tell me if I can fix this and how, or if there is anything I can do for my baby, please help?

Thank you very much :)

Well... Loose batteries could be a cause... Get a smaller peice of foam and put it on top of the batteries. Then seal it carefully in with the screws. Just a really think peice of foam cut to size.

Otherwise, you can try to tape the batteries to the bottom better.

Normally random resetting is the cause... It could be that the batteries are old... But I wouldn't know.

I have the exact same problem with my Dinkie Dino that I recently received from eBay.

:( Who did you buy from?
