Well you see..

I got into a really high standard school, my parents are happy etc... BUT:

I'm in the second bottom set for maths and english and in the third bottom for science. We have six sets. I'm good at art and P.E but im really worried I'll be scraping along the bottom at my new school.

And on top of that, I'm gonna miss all my friends.

it depend which school you go to

im going to manor

if you are we friends?(at the school?)

7th Grade in High School!? o.o Are you in Canada? Year 7 here is the second year of Middle School/Junior High

I am going into 7th Grade as well, but mine is a Popular school hard to get in....

Don't worry, you can make new friends ^^ Just Relax, Standard High Schools are easy. Your lucky... As long as you don't make anyone mad you should be fine

I agree with meowbark! Im going to 7th grade, and its my 2nd year in my middle school!! :D

You'll make new friends. I went to a magnet school only knowing one other person and I've met soo many people. You can still keep up with all your other friends. You will be getting to know more people- the people from the old school, and people from the new.

In the UK Year 7 is the "grade" you go into when you are 11-12yrs old and moving from Primary school (4-11yrs) into Secondary school (11-16/18yrs)

Don't worry about the school too much tamagotchi_pal, I am sure you will do fine. You were offered a place there - so they must think you are smart enough

You'll make plenty of new friends and there's no reason why you can't keep in touch with your old school friends too... after all - that's what IM and the telephone are for... and there's always some free time at weekends...

Everyone feels a little nervous starting at a new school. All you can do is to try your honest best at your subjects. No matter which set you are in... it's probably higher than the set other ppl are in at schools that aren't as high standard as the one you're going to :D

In Australia its the same thing. Here when your in year 7 (11-12-13) Secondary school is the last school before university. It goes year 7-12.

And I agree with TamaMum. "Dont worry, Be happy." I heard that off Full house. XD

(I KNOW WHY BUT THATS SOMTHING IM NOT TELLING)

Relax. Laughter and peace is the best medicine, including calming your nerves.

I'm sure you'll find friends as quick as a blink of an eye- just be friendly, wide-open, and say hi! :)

It may be hard to leave your friends, but think if it as an opportunity.

And keep your mind on the good stuff- sure to make a great difference.

At my school its the third year of middle school. But my school is weird compared to the schools around us.. And I'm a tuition student and its very hard to get into.

You just got to concentrate, study, and make sure you hand things in on time and do the work with the best hard work you could.

About the friends, you'll find some that you fit in with, just be your self. When you find some people you want to be friends with, just kinda, talk to 'em!
