Okay, so I'm pretty sure that someone's hacking my DS. I'll explain:

DS main screen: It loads the options screen automatically without me touching it.

OPTIONS SCREEN: It goes to date/time, and goes fast with opening/closing it repetidly

NAME: it puts it as ccccccccccc

PICTO CHAT: It auto logs me in chatroom C and keeps typing T

MARIO KART: It keeps going from surroundings to map, controls my kart, goes to Wi-fi, choses Time Trials, makes it 150cc, makes my character princess peach.

ZELDA: Controls LINK himself, won't let me talk to people

ANIMAL CROSSING: uses the tool Kayte's using automatically, controls Kayte auto.

and that's all I know so far, because I didn't try all my games. It's not the pad calibrated wrong, because it's the same as when it was working fine.

So what I'm saying it, I cant play any of my games, change my name, go in Picto Chat, cetra, because my DS is doing stuff without my touching it. like in my games, my people MOVE without my even touching my DS! What's wrong!?

I'm probably wrong, but maybe if someone around you is connected to wifi, they could accidently be controling your ds.
Hope I helped!
I agree. Either that or hacking you from wi-fi. Just my thought though I could be wrong.

It's not that. I've been to the beach, the other beach, my friends house, my house, my grans house, and my aunts house, and it still does that.

And I don't have wi-fi, so that can't be it.

Sometimes the force is not as strong and I can, but mostly I have 0 control over it.

And once in a blue moon it doesn't work.

If you can get to it, you might try setting the option to where you have to select something from the homescreen, instead of it launching automatically? Or, where did you get your DS? Was it a trusted store or was it ebay?

...No one can hack you if you don't have Wi-Fi. It's impossible. Just like if you don't have the internet people can't hack your computer. Maybe it's a glitch? Try going to best buy or a place that works with electronics and explain to them what's going on.

Take it to Gamestop if you have one.

If you don't, call Nintendo. They should either offer to fix it themselves or walk you through fixing it. Worse case scenario there isn't a fix.

Call up Nintendo and see if they can help you. Who knows? If you've had it for two years than the internal battery might be dying.

I suggest you get a new DS. Because a DS controlling itself is NOT right.

The only way you can get hacked is if youre connected to wifi. Try taking out the battery, then putting it back. That restarts the DS.

I don't recommend taking out the battery unless you REALLY know what you're doing.

Anyway, try calling up Nintendo and tell them what is happening to the DS.

I think there is a fee for having them fix it, but its worth the money.

^ Nothing bad happens if you remove the battery. It just restarts your DS, and you just have to reinput the settings.

it came out this year so the DSi is either glitching, or the battery is bad.

I think maybe you dropped it or it went through extream heat or cold for a long time. If not Im clueless. xD My DS did that when I put it in the heat. I now have the DS i because of that.

I recommend you do what SK said.

If there isn't a fix, Nintendo should give you another one for free.

Anyway, how long was your guarantee? It was probably a year, but if you renewed it, you should get a refund [or a free one].

Do you use screen protectors? Sometimes they can screw-up your touch screen. The only ones I recommend are Hori Screen Protectors.

Have you used any un-official software for it? Like a FlashCart [e.g. DSTT or EZFlash 3 in 1] or any stuff from Datel [Action Replay is fine, but you may have got a glitchy cartridge]?

If all fails, going back to my first point, in some places you can trade your DS Lite for a DS Phat [Old school, chunky DS].

Hope I helped, because it took me a long time to think of these. xD

Lukie:

1. Okay, that's my last option. I attempt to fix first, before calling Nintendo.

2.What!?

3.Yes, I use screen portectors, but I've had them for 2 years, and it's not the touch screen screwing up.

4.No, I have not.

5.No, I don't want a DS phat! O:

6.Yes, you helped.
