Ok, so, today in school, i found out that i'm smarter than 98% of america. O_O

My IQ is 140. Average for a 10 year old is 100-110.

Albert Einstein's IQ was 132...

I have bragging rights! XD

Cool. My IQ's 122. That's above average.. Yay?

-kuchipatchi-

Wow, 140!?! at the age of 10!?!? YOur like Chiyo-chan from Azumanga Daioh!! xDCongrates on your smartness! :D
Azumanga XD

I dont believe you. U have no proof sorry, I do. I am smart myself, I got 2 letters from 2 different organizations for smart kids "People to People" And "Who's Who" Organizations. I need to ask you have u gotten any special letters? If so please show, I can show mines

I may not act smart, but my mind Comprehends stuff different resulting in my grades (Not good if you ask) I know how to Add, Multiply, Subtract, and Devide fractions. I pretty much can fix a PC if I know the problem with it. I can do alot, my grades don show it thought

I'm sorry... I'm going to either have to beleive you made a mistake or the test is faulty. Geniuses are at the IQ of 148... surely MENSA would have mailed you by now.

I am intelligent. But I never got any rewards or letters... Ah well. My best proof is a certificate stating I have the IQ of about 128. However... IQs are normally biased on Math and Puzzle related problems.

awsome!!! I had 138 when I was 11, I got a higher one now but I need to take another one, because my teacher sais my IQ is higher since I took one about a year ago or so. I have been mailed by 3 organizations two of them I haven't heard of, one was the schoolastic magazine news researcher thoug, well that's what schoolastic asked me to be, a news researcher, and writer. That was a while ago though.

(sorry, had to re-check the certificate :D )

there are people smarter then me, there are people more stupid then me. i wont go on about how i think im a genius or anything. my grades are better then average and arent perfect. i dont get any letters telling me im 'special' and i like it that way. i dont know my IQ, and i really dont feel like people must be judged by numbers or rankings. me included.

there will always be someone smarter then you, and there will always be someone who is more stupid then you.

everything in life is like that.

but, if you want to be optomistic, people who are smarter then you help make your life easier, and people who are not-so-smart are people who you can make a difference by helping.

I don't lie. This charty thing said its like in between 135 and 140, i just kinda rounded it off

so i'm guessing 135...? My dad has an IQ of 157. My family is just really smart.

And um tamagotchigirl2 where did u do the IQ test and do u have any proof that ur iq is that high??

Where do you take IQ tests?

So you said 140, but later we find out it may have been 135, be careful. :)

Congratulations either way! 135-140 is great!

I wonder what mine is..

frankly, i don't know my iq... nor do i care. all i care about is making it through high school. i am in the honors classes right now, so gradewise i'm pretty smart... but when it comes to common sense..... i get an F-

Nice - but what was the name of the IQ test you took?

When I was 9, they said I did well in some psychology report blahblah, so they wanted to do IQ tests to me in school. They did them, and they said I had an IQ of 160. :D

Anyway, they said it would probably go up if I was motivated. Last September - October - November, in order to see if I could get moved up a year, they said I had to take more IQ tests with some newer, harder etc etc test.

So, we went there, and the first thing I had to do were some Raven matrices.. 59/60.

There were also some other tests, and the most important one was "WISC IV" (WISC 4). They said that to be considered Genius/gifted/superdotado in that test it had to be over 130, because it was harder, tested you on more things, had waay more tests than any other test (and it did, it took days ;) ) and that if you passed 130, you did further tests.

Well, I got lucky despite being tired, and I became the first kid she had tested to surpass 130 on that test, so I had to take further tests like Creativity, and a few other things.

Anyway, we got a whole long booklet sent back with what seemed like the story of my life which was basically a whole load of percentages of how my brain was (of which I remember I was 99,9% clever, or on that percentile) and that I had an IQ of 145. :)

She said I could be moved up a year, but the school's done nothing, apart from make us pay the psychologist bill... ¬_¬

Hehe, that's way above average! :) Mine was 127, last time I checked.. mind you, the test wasn't that great.. and the lowest age was 14, so it might be a bit different..

Wow, spiffy.. that's enormous!

Yeah, graet IQ, spiffy!

My uncle's IQ is 226, I think..... he's very intellegent! :(

I did several different IQ tests when I was in school, my first one being when I was in Kindergarten. They wouldn't tell me what my IQ was...but I never went to regular classes after that. I attended I.D.E.A. program classes everyday in school, the Gifted program.

It was really neat, because I spent my day doing things like becoming fluent in Russian and Latin, working at creative-thinking puzzles and riddles, studying odd features of the English language such as Spoonerisms, participating in world-wide activities like the time I sent off a stuffed Tiger with a few trinkets in it, a letter and my address and it traveled the world being sent from person to person(whoever the current owner decided to mail it to) for over a year or so, before finally making it's way back to me with letters and small things from all over the world. :( We also had to do huge creative-thinking research projects every year, and I did a huge Tamagotchi project!

It was the neatest, and I was really close with my teacher, Mrs. Clark. I was the first child in my school's history to enter the Gifted Program in Kindergarten, and I still hold the record. A lot of the other children teased me about "being in that class because I broke my graham crackers differently" and junk like that. :( I was in that class everyday with the same teacher until 7th grade, when I had to have a different Gifted teacher for a year until I was homeschooled. I really liked him, too, but I have so many fond memories of being in my grade-school gifted class. :(

**There are many different types of high-level intelligence in the world. I don't make exemplary grades in college, mainly B's, and I'm not that good at studying things out of the books and memorizing them over and over again. I'm also terrible at higher level math. Seriously bad. Maybe I'm not so good at these because my creative thinking and independant learning style was greatly enhanced in school...I don't know. BUT, the point is...if you're not good at everything it doesn't mean you're not as smart. Many geniuses did poorly in school. :(
