Wierd connection / reset

Well I have a v5,yesterday when I was playing with it I went to the v5 connection and I pressed b, then it showed "Standby" and then I pressed b again and it did the reset and download thing! , [i wasn't trying to connect to another tama] is this normal, and does this happen to you?

Have you dropped your tamagotchi on hard ground lately? I honestly can't tell you for sure what happened though..

Nope, I have only droped mine on the couch.. nope, no hard ground

this also happened to me!! I have 2 tamagotchi V5 and both of them do the same thing!!
