I want a Tamagotchi to keep me company when Im outside. I have a V5 V4.5 and a V6. Im thinking of waiting until the Tama-go or waiting to see if anyone can get me a Tama walkie. Right now Im going to buy the Tama-go but What Version do you think I should get to keep me company?

Yeah I mean that But if You were me would you just start up an old Tama, Buy an Older version or wait until The new Tama? I feel lonely without one In my hand. It may be a good Idea to wait until The Tama-Go but what do you Think?

I think you should go for the older Tamagotchis. I always like to go old school, especially with my P1, P2 and Angel Tamagotchis.

Maybe it's just me, but they're much simpler and easier to play with than the newer ones.

Yeah, I would recommend going old-school too. The Tamagotchi Angel/Angelgotchi is also one of my favorites. P2 as well, since my first one was a P2.

Yep! Mimitchi is one of my all-time favorite characters. Explains the reason behind my user name too. I'm totally open to connections too, just haven't had a chance to collect them as much as I have with the vintage ones. I would love to get a TMGC+C someday soon.

You don't have to know how to read Japanese to take care of the Japanese Tamagotchis. They're quite easy to catch on to. If you know what all the icons mean (and they are often a good representation of what they are, picture-wise), you'll get the gist of it all in no time. All the icons are pretty much the same across Tamagotchis. Plus, not all vintage Tamagotchis are in Japanese. There are P1s, P2s, and Angels (the Tamagotchi Angel, not the Japanese Angelgotchi) in English out there.
