If you look in the Tips and Tricks section there is most likely going to be a thread on Codes for the v5, there you can find the codes for the milk and the Magnifying Glass.

However, you can also go to the shopping channel, Milk is a bottle with a large M on it

What Kuchipatchi Freak and Kikitchi Kitty said are correct. You can get milk and the magnifying glass are both available at the TV Shop at certain times, but there are also codes that can be obtained by going to the Tamagotchi Tips n' Tricks Forum. To input those codes, go to special/DVD and input the codes Kuchipatchi freak said. I'm positive those will work on your V5 Familitchi.
