Whether or not you believe in the Bible, do you have a favorite Bible verse?

I really like 1 Corinthians 13:13;

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

In fact, I love all of 1 Corinthians 13:

What about you? :)

Disclaimer: This is not a topic to debate religion.

Note: I started this topic on a different site and people made jokes posts e.g. Potatoes 11:69: Jesus had a disco party on the moon. Please refrain from making these kinds of posts.

Here are a few of my favorites: "The Lord does not look at the things man looks at, man look at the outward apearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." Psalm 31:30 "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work; if one falls down, his friend can help him up." Ecclesiates 4:9-10 "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him." Matthew 6:5-9 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7. :blink:

Ezekiel 25:17, I guess:

“I will carry out great vengeance on them and punish them in my wrath. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I take vengeance on them."

Tho, I have to admit, I like Samuel L. Jackson's version in Pulp Fiction way more :p

“The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know My name is the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon thee.”
