My collecting so far has gone by in a flash but I haven't bought any Tamas in over 20 days and that is a LONG time for me to go without buying Tamas. I'm kind of stuck as to what to get...my requirements are:

  • Preferably not a colour Tamagotchi - I have enough of those
  • NO HIGH SHELL AND SCREEN CARE. My 15th Anniversary iD L gives me a million times enough of THAT.
  • Collection-suitable. No Tama-Gos or V6s or anything - I'd like something rare!
  • Preferably less than $50. I might extend to $60 if I want it really bad.
  • No vintages!
  • No bidding!
  • Must be in stock on a well-known auction site that accepts PayPal (my parents insist on paying via PayPal)
  • Must be available new or in very good condition

What can you suggest? :)

What about a TamaWalkie or a Japanese V1 (Tamagotchi Plus+)? Both are on eBay available as Buy It Now and both are available for $60 or less including shipping. I know the TamaWalkie is somewhat of a rare find, especially the black and blue versions - and it would be a really unique kind of Tama to add to your collection as the release was specific to Australia and the Asian Pacific countries.

The Japanese V1 has really great packaging and I just adore the the shell designs. I found them through eBay by searching "tamagotchi rare". You'll also see a few TamaWalkie's pop up in that search as well.

I think it would be a good idea to tell us what Tamas you have rather than what you don't want. That way users won't have to play a guessing game trying to figure out what would be a good match for you. :)

Have fun searching for your 31st Tamagotchi!

Not so sure you'll like this suggestion...

Instead of buying ANOTHER Tama that will end up on your shelf- how about doing something fun to celebrate your 31st Tama like playing one week (Or another amount of time) with each of your already-owned Tamas. That way you'll be able to really appreciate all the Tamas that you have and decide if you truly need more. :)

I don't know if you have one but an angelgotchi might be a great edition to your collection. Regardless of whether you like it or not it will be a great edition to your collection. I bought my american one for 30 bucks used so I think it could be under 60 dollars. I love my american one it is so much fun. Anyways they are really easy to take care of and you will like it. Also I like Violetchichilluvr3's Idea you should start each one up and log it to celebrate each one that way you will appreciate them better. Anyways I hope this helps.

Uhm...I said no vintages...and yes I do have an Angelgotchi already, and I don't really find it fun. -_-

Running a V6 or Angelgotchi for a week = torture. I'm collecting Tamas, which means I'm never stopping getting them. That's how people end up with the biggest Tama collections ever.

OK, I'll try those. I have considered a TamaWalkie but I've never heard of the Tamagotchi Plus. Thanks!

Aaaaaaaaagh! I had a blue TamaWalkie but I traded it for a P2... UGH.

** Bangs head against wall **

Anyway...

How about a Keitai Akai (if that's how you spell it)? Not sure if there are any on eBay though...

Sorry, I wouldn't have been able to buy the TamaWalkie anyway, while you can only buy NOT using PayPal I can only buy USING PayPal. :(
