What sport should I play?

Well, I was thinking that I should start playing a sport. But Im not sure what one. Im pretty tall so I tried basketball, but I didnt like it. My friends do netball, but I just cant get my finger on that.

Does anyone have any good ideas??

FOOTBALL! But you gotta keep up those grades and better start getting into running alot and throwing. My recommendations:

(1.) 50 push ups per day

(2.) 20 sit ups per day

(3.) Throw a football with older sibling or friend to get used to throwing.

(4.) Stay Healthy

(5.) ENJOY

I was gonna say soccer, or maybe volleyball.

Hmm...last Thursday I had a terrible experience with volleyball (people yelling at me cuz i couldnt get the ball over the net and stupid tuff like that) so I think I wont stick with volleyball. Soccer maybe, but I'd prefer something that requires cncentration and not as much moving around and stuff. I now sports are about moving around, but nothing to intense. Any other ideas??

Hockey is alright cos there aren't a lot of complicated rules. I'm tall too, but my back's alright if I stand up straight when the ball is down the other end.

I agree with you about netball, I don't like it either cos the rules are difficult! I do like basketball though.

Have you thought about tennis or badminton? I really enjoy them. You would also have an advantage because you are tall; you could hit and volley the ball higher.

I was gonna suggest that but there requires a lot of moving. And I thought you didn't want that. Plus can you really join batminton? I love that game though, One of the only sports I rock at xD

Badminton is very fun, in my opinion. I love it. :3

But I don't play on a team, anyway..

I suggest you try all different sports, find one you like and have advantages in, and stick with that.

Just find out what your good at.

Are you good at catching? Running? Pitching or throwing?

Sum it up into a category, read up on the sport. What do you need to do?

Check if you can do a Rec[Recreational] sport or do it for your school. =]

Yeah, we do Gym at school. It's a school focused on Gym, but Im not very flexible. I might try yoga though. I was thinking tennis or badminton. Im pretty good at sports where you use rackets. And I really dont like team sports. When Im on a team and I do something ''wrong'', Ill get yelled at, ill get bullied and sometimes even physically bullied. So tennis or badminton?? Which one is better in your opinion?

Hmm... if you live in a place that plays it, play cricket.

Not really intense running around, sometimes you go for hours without going to bat, and its a really good team sport.

The only down side is that games go for 5 hours, but for 2-3 hours of that you're sitting on the sideline watching your team bat.

I play it, and if you're a girl its really easy to get into representative teams with it because its more popular amongst the guys.
