I've never seen anything like it! It has the bandai logo.... but the box says "TAMAGOTCH". What could it be? O_O

That's not fake. It's a UNIQLO Limited Edition Japanese Chibi Tamagotchi. UNIQLO is a clothing design company. In Japan, they used to spell Tamagotchi in English as "Tamagotch" hence the reason vintages say "Angelgotch", "Devilgotch", etc. In the West they kept it as Tamagotchi (sounds catchier?), so Japan started spelling it like Tamagotchi as well. Tamagotchi is a combination of the words Tamago (egg) and watch. Technically in Japan it's pronounced Tamagotchi but they had it at TamaGOTCH at first to rhyme with "watch". Vowels at the ends of certain Japanese words are often silent/whispered anyway.

That Tamagotchi is DEFINATELY authentic. If "Tamagotchi" is spelled right, you KNOW that it is an authentic.

Not necessarily. There are plenty of fakes that spell Tamagotchi correctly.

Ohhhh ok. Then I might be wrong. Tamagotchis with the word spelled right and 4 buttons are not authentic.

Yep, and I have one of those. I bought it just for fun, because I knew it was a fake. I just wanted to see how it was, and it's pretty bad. The company who makes them should be ashamed of themselves for perfectly copying the logo.

The uniqlo Chibis are beautiful, I want to get one some day.
But not only Chibis were given special uniqulo designs, there are's also a uniqlo TamaSuku.
