What is the best Tamagotchi for a starter?

I asked myself this whenever looking for my first Tama, and I landed on the rock n' roll gen 2 Tama. I think that the gen 1 or gen 2 Tamagotchi 's are great for starters!!

i just got the rock n roll gen 2 for Christmas and I am already hyperfixating haha, I want to learn and collect so many more :3 it's my first tamagotchi!

get the tamagotchi connections! you can mostly find it on amazon and its so silly lol. its fun and cool

My first (and only at the moment) is actually an angelgotchi! I know it seems weird to start with, but I just really liked the design on the shell! It's a little complicated but easy once you understand. I would recommend!

I personally started off with a tamagotchi connection V4 and in my opinion it's not too hard to care for. Then again, I haven't tried all of the tamas concidering I just have 3

i think the amount of time in a day you can interact with the device could be a deciding factor in which one to get. so if youre busy/away a lot then one with a pause or less features would be better, and if you can look after it the whole day then more features/time based activities

i dont judge! the angelgotch is interesting and im happy there is a re release! but i hope the devilgotch/monstergotch gets a re release!

yeah i started with a gen2, not many features but it interested me!

I have yet to find any glitches in my unit. And I've had it for a decade now!
Might be good to add that mine is a European unit. It just says "tamagotchi" on the front. Could it be that it was just the american units who had this problem? I'm just guessing here, and I haven't researched this at all. But I really don't think I've ever encountered a glitch like what I saw in pictures.. and I've had mine since I was like 12 years old
