What do you do with souvenirs in V4.5?

I am not new to tamagotchi's but i am very confused as to what i do with my souvenirs?

Do i play with them? If so how?

Or are they just there to look at, because if so i don't get why i would want souvenirs.

Souvenirs are not meant to play with. It's impossible actually. Souvenirs are meant for keeping the memory of what your tamagotchi did from the past and stuff. Usually when the parent leaves the baby it takes most of the souvenirs with it except for the souvenirs that are hard to get.
