Hi! Does anyone know if any of these are rare or worth anything? They used to be my mom's and she gave them to me when I was little. All of the ones not in the case were not hers. And the tamagotchi on is new so I know it isn't worth anything more than normal. Thanks for looking! Please reply! Not too great at figuring out these things 🧐 also I have 3-4 more and accessories :))

The English Ocean is worth a lot.

Text got cut out, but the Angel seems to be an English version as well, worth a decent amount if in good condition. The Space Explorer is less common, so it could be worth more to a collector. Transparent shells are always popular, and giga pets are making a resurgence so check completed ebay listings for more up to date prices.

The Tama-GO seems to have increased in popularity based on sales in Tamagotchi Traders, but here in Australia, they can be bought pretty cheaply. The ONs fluctuate around $40 USD, but if you wait for sales, you can get NIB ones from Target and the like for as little as $17 USD. The littlest pet shop ones don't go for much, but are cute nevertheless.

The original digimon were worth quite a bit, especially in the past before they released the 20th anniversary editions.

NIP ones have gone for ~$350-400 USD or even more, depending on how nice the packaging is. Loose ones can go from $200-$300, but with these things really, they're rare enough that you can probably set your own price.

WOW THAT IS CRAZY 😳 I HAD NO IDEA TAMAGOTCHI COULD GO FOR SO MUCH !!!!!!!!! IM DEFINITELY NOT USING IT ANYMORE! What should I do to keep it mint condition?

I think the white one with black buttons and border (near the toy story one) is a USA P1 from what I could find here: https://tamagotchi.fandom.com/wiki/Tamagotchi_(1996_Pet)/Shell_list

White and Black

USA

White shell with black borders and buttons.

USA Wave 2. Replicated in 2018 and in Mini form.

If you're saying it's your mom's, it's probably the original 1997ish release! :D

As for keeping it mint, I'd strongly suggest getting it a case, especially when you're going to be taking it from place to place in your bag. I use a PSP case lined in with some extra added foam to keep it more cushioned and firmly in place. I see lots of headphone cases work well too :)

Thanks so much!!! Is the black and white one worth anything? Mine is a little rough condition though :( and I'll definitely use my psp case!!!

Yeah, there is actually currently an auction on eBay for the exact same model English Ocean as yours (it also does not come with packaging) for $340

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tamagotchi-Ocean-Blue-Clean-Working-Rare-English-USA-version-1997-Smoke-FreeHome/264805242818?hash=item3da79f57c2:g:FroAAOSwYddfGWQu
WOW!!! I looked and it would on August 7th! I thought about trying to sell mine cause Im really scared I'm going to mess it up 😰😰😰

A quick price check on eBay shows prices varying from 40 - 200 USD for new in box, so for an open one in rough condition I'd say not so much :(  Yes, definitely treat that Ocean with care! I'd recommend adding some more foam to the PSP case so your Tama won't stay getting knocked around from side to side in the PSP case.

Alternatively, something like this could also really help: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tamagotchi-Original-Ocean-Morino-Transparent-Hard-Case-Cover-1997-US-Seller/264652299072?hash=item3d9e819b40:g:hwcAAOSwkBteW4XI

You might also want to consider a screen protector for such a rare gem!
