It depends. It could get a job as early as age 4 but if you don't apply for the available jobs, it may take longer :kusatchi:

You should get your job 24 hours after your Adult tamagotchi. Nazotchi :kusatchi: will send you mail that looks like this.[!]. Then he will send you about 2 of those. You will get to choose from 6 jobs. Your life points will effect what job you can apply for. If you fail a interview Nazotchi will come back and give you job titles.
