I just started raising my first Tamagotchi yesterday [V4] and Im wondering what the weight is suppsoed to be around to get a healthy character.

Can it stay around the minimum weight? Like is it bad if it is too light or only if it is overweight?

Cuz ive been keeping it at the minimum...

Any help is appreciated. :(

It depends on what stage of life your character is at.

I keep playing games and losing weight for my tama until it doesn't it doesn't want to play anymore games because of it's weight. I always keep my tama's weight under 40 lbs, but I'm really strict with my tama's weight. I like to keep it healthy. :(

So it is okay for it to be at its minimum?

[when it cant lose anymore weight]

mine is at its toddler phase and the min is 10, i keep mine around 10-14

It depends, and of course it's okay, that means they're at the perfect weight. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think its suppossed to be:

Baby: 5lbs

Toddler: 10lbs

Teen: 20lbs

Adult: 30lbs

I hope this helped! :)

Sure its okay to be at minimum weight. Your doing a great job. :)

I always keep my tama between its base weight and 10lbs more than that. :) It just seems healthier to me that way. ;)

Oh and x.Saku - some Teens are 15lbs also :D

Hope I've been of help!

Huh? I always thought that the teens went up to 22 lbs. Ehh, never mind.

I just do what ax3llvsu says and keep my tama's weight at a minimum. This way, if you feed your tama when it calls for it, you won't have to worry about it becoming over weight.

yea, i dont really keep my tamas at their perfect (minimum/base) weight, cuz i believe a little weight more isnt that bad, and so u can play games. if ur tama were to be kept at the perfect weight 24/7, you would never be able to play games and that isnt much fun. : (

So my tamas rite now are about 5 lbs more that their perfect weight, and i think thats fine. wats not ok is over 10 lbs overweight. (i.e., teenager should weigh 20lbs, ur tama weighs 32 lbs).

this is just wat i hav found healthy for my tamas, i encourage this way, but u can always hav watever works and wat u think is good.

i hav also heard peeps say not to hav it underweight - but that doesnt exist does it????

Here is a list of the ideal weights:

Baby- 5-9 pounds

Toddler- 10-14 pounds

Teen- 15-29 pounds ( some teens have a minimum weight of 15 pounds, others have a minimum weight of 20 pounds.)

Adult- 30-40 pounds

The minimum weight of an adult tamagotchi is 30 pounds. They can go over, all the the way up to 99 pounds, but that is considered obese!!!! Try to keep in the weight ranges stated in the list for a happy tamgotchi!!!!
