"A person.." she muttered softly and took a big bite of the meat. Once she finished, she wrapped her arms around her legs and pulled them to her chest. Peter couldn't help but laugh at his friend's immense embarrassment. It was probably one of the first times Olivia has ever felt this way, he reasoned, since she didn't allow herself to grow attached to others.

"Why not say? What could it hurt? Things are dangerous and it's tough to go through it alone. I get it though, I'm not trying to pry." Avy told her.

"Well what about you Peter"

Dex put an arm around Avy, rubbing her back a little. He had a feeling something was wrong, but couldn't tell what.

Peter looked up at Avy and smiled slightly. "Well, to be bluntly honest, I've taken a liking to Para. Not sure if it's romantic or not, but still," he said nonchalantly. Things like that never seemed to bother Peter at all, and he was perfectly fine with telling things how they were, even it it did make things weird. Olivia couldn't believe Peter just blurted it out, and she couldn't help but laugh to herself silently.

 

[Aquangel]

"Storm likes Olivia!" Para blurted.

"Dice's full name is Paradice - I mean Dice likes Peter!" Storm shot back.

Para grabbed a root out of the embers. "Para is going to kill Storm!" She shouted.

"Storm is going to kill Dice!" Storm yelled at Para.

Dex couldn't help but let out a laugh at the two.

"Awwww! So cute!" Avy teased them.

"So if you like each other, what are you waiting for?" Dex teased as well.

Olivia couldn't containe the bright red blush that spread across her face. Peter laughed although he was still blushing slightly. "Is little Olivia blushing? Looks like someone has a little crush on Storm." he teased, warning a light punch to the side from Olivia.

 

[Aquangel]

Para picked up on of the roots and ate it. "Looks like you guys like eating cold meat," She said. "cause that's what you are going to get if you don't eat now."

"Oh yeah. Food." Grabbing one of Para's root Storm crunched it happily trying to annoy Para.

Para was grinning.

Storm was scared. Then it hit him. "Hot, hot, hot, hot, hot!!!!"

Para's grin widen. "And that's why I always get you to find those roots. I let other people eat them."

"Hey guys?" Asvoria mumbled. She looked up at everyone. "I'm sorry about how we met in the beginning. I'm glad we're all together now."

((sorry I haven't been posting today. Failed a chemistry test and had 4 worksheets to turn in and make up))

Dex nodded with a smile. "I'm so glad I have all of you, especially you Avy."

(aww, I'm sorry. I failed my English final, so I know how you feel. /: )

"Is it really that hot?" Olivia muttered to herself as she picked up a root. She took a small bite out of it and then threw it down quickly.

Peter laughed at her and handed her a bottle of water, which she took small sips from until her mouth stopped burning

(Man, that sucks failing tests. I'm soo glad I'm not in high school yet!)

"Wow, I thought you were too smart for that!" Para joked.

Storm's mouth had stopped burning.

Olivia laughed slightly and grabbed another apple and bit into it, enjoying the soothing feeling that washed over her tingling mouth. "So, what now?" She asked and looked at everyone.

 

[Aquangel]

"To the organisation.....?" Storm asked.

Para was suprised. "Anybody else want to go?"

 

[YellowJedi]

"No." Dex said softly. "I mean, the organization is great and all, but I think it would be smart not to join them. If we stay a small group like this, it'll attract less attention with the creatures. I have an idea we could go to a city or something, and settle in an abandoned hotel for shelter, since there would be beds and everything there."

 

[Aquangel]

"True. Avy why's the organisation so great?" Para asked.

 

[appledotango]

"I agree with Dex, sleeping in the open like this just isn't safe." Olivia noted and tossed her apple core off into the distance.

"A hotel sounds fantastic, how soon can we leave?" Peter asked.
