I need help.

Soo, I was on the computer, when all of a sudden my computer screen turns blue and in white letters it says "Windows has been shut down to prevent damage. Try again later." So i thought, whatever, and went to watch a movie. I came back and tried to start it up, and it makes this weird beeping/humming sound, and the little light next to the power button is yellow. I press it and it turns green, but the screen won't do anything.

Help? I am going to be KILLED.

Wait a second, how can your computer be broken and you are still posting?

That happened to my computer, and I'm sorry to scare you, but it crashed later...good luck..

My computer was in a black screen for DAYS

IT broke, even this guy that knows alot about computers could not fix it.

That happened to me once!! I tried to turn it off with the power button but it was frozen, so I had to unplug it. But it didn't make a beeping noise, even though my computer was frozen and beeping once. I suggest you unplug it and then plug it in again.

Well, that's exactly why I use Apple computers- they rarely, if ever crash. You can buy really great virus programs for them. My dad's PC has crashed a total of 5 times, and my 1991 iMac has never crashed. :3

I suggest telling your parents. Don't just go to them and be "Umm, mom the computer broke." You'll be in trouble :) Tell them while you can still maybe fix it.

Yeah, for about 7 minutes, and then crashed permanently...Sorry. Just tell them that the computer broke randomly...or just tell them the truth like a good person and face it if you get in trouble.

It probably doesn't have any more memory. That happened to me and my dad had to fix it. >.<

You didn't get in trouble little sis yaaaaaay!!

Dad said the storm probably burnt it out so it's all good now woooo. LOL you know all of this already I'm just bored xDD.

my computer was worse, u see, i played maplestory the day before for at least 11 hours! with in between breaks. then the next day, my sister went to use it a nd she could smell something horrid burning(the computer) and she saw smoke come out from the coputer! it was freaky

I know this is off topic, but that happened to me with a paper shredder. It said MAX 5 SHEETS but I put in 8 at a time and then it started smoking... :)

Anyway, it's good to hear that you weren't in trouble! Great! :)

I also de-frag my computers regularily. Just keep the de-frag in mind if it crashes again. :) It checks how much room you have, and it looks freaky cool when it's happening. Files blowing around everywhere ^ ^

That happened a few days ago, actually =o

I just unplugged it, and plugged it back it again. It went back to normal.

My dad would blame me for crashing the computer even if he was on it. I get blamed for most cp issues because Im on the computer more than everyone else in my family. x33

It could be totally out of memory or have a drive error. I suggest telling whoever (parents) and contacting someone who would know how to fix it.

Even though it's sorted.

To those who don't get how parents' could blame a child for a virus: Some parents' care for the computer seeing how much money a good one costs. And when they get off the computer and let their kid on knowing that they (The parent) didn't install anything, and when their kid uses the computer and it starts' screwing up. Regardless if the kid did nothing, the parent will think the kid did it and blame the kid.

Thats' how it works. Yep.

unplug it and plug it back in! don't go on girlsense.com on older computers because i think if i go back on it on my computer it will crash!

welll tell parents and say randomly

♥Rock On♥
