Violetchi figurine

On the Violetchi figurine, what is that thing between Violetchi's body and the microchip? It looks like she sitting on a lump or something. I can't make out what it is. Does anyone know?

Its just something to hold it in place better. Thats it. Other figures have that too... The figures are easier to place that way.

Does the lump contain technology? If I cut Violetchi off with scissors, will it damage the microchip?

Violetchi is very cute. But I just have this custom that I cut off all the figures off of the microchip, cause I have to take my Tama-go go to college and where ever I go. And if I still have the figurine on top, people will look at me and think that I'm so unprofessional and childlike. But if I have the figurine cut off, people wouldn't even know that the Tamago is actually a toy. I had many people at my college ask me and they thought that my Tamago was a walkie talkie, radio, clock, etc. Now that's the impression that I wanna get! People will think that it's some kind of electronic, not a toy... just because I have the figurine cut off. Basically I just look more professional this way with all figurines cut off. But I don't throw them away. I keep the cut-off figurines in a box. Every once in a while I would go into that box and look at them, enjoying them. Yeah, I know it is kinda sad to have to cut them off. But I have no choice.

Yeah but the Violetchi contains a lump that she sits on, which I haven't seen on any other figurines, so I'm wondering if it contains technology.

I checked out my violetchi just to understand what you meant by "sitting on a lump".

It's really small, so I don't think it has some technology attached to it, but still i'm not sure. I think that the technology is only in the bottom of it, not in the character itself.

My package just came in the mail yesterday! The Violetchi figure didn't appear to have a lump. I don't know why she doesn't have a lump like the one shown on the internet. But anyway I feel lucky.
