As far as I know, Bandai hasn't released any information on ever making a V3.

It's just a rumour started by someone on the forum.

I highly doubt that the v3 will be out any time soon (or even if it will be made). Just remmeber how long it took BanDai to make v1 and then after that to make v2. The v2 has only just been released.

*sigh* Look, there is no V3 out yet, there isn't even a press release by Bandai, so why just make it without letting us know? Besides, I've seen V3's on eBay but they are just US fakes O.O There is a red pixel Tamagotchi in Japan right now called Akai Red Series, but it's NOT a V3.
