V6 Issues~

Hi guys! I'm not new to Tamagotchi, but I'm new to V6 (Music Star). I just got my Music Star a few days ago. Before that, I had only collected tamas up to Version 3, and I've never touched a 4 or 5, so bear with me.

In music star, I have two problems.

1. It seems like when my tama goes to sleep, I can't pause him anymore. This is problematic for me, because I have no idea when he's gonna wake up, and it could potentially be well before me. As a result, I've been forced to pause him before his bedtime every day, which really sucks </3 Because it stops him from growing. Ideally, I'd like to pause him before I go to sleep, but it seems like I'm unable to do that. In the older versions, we used to be able to pause tama after he had gone to bed. Why has this changed, and is there a way to do it through a code or something?

2. I've noticed that now my Tama is a teen, baby food won't fill him up to 4 stars in his hunger. This means I need to buy food with gotchi points, but how do we MAKE gotchi points on this version? The guide didn't explain it to me well. The only time I earned points so far was when the king came to visit, and I don't know how often that happens. =( I'm just worried that I'll run out of points and won't be able to buy my tama food anymore. That's mind boggling to me. Why would they create the potential for that to happen?

The second problem drives me crazy.

I hardly ever have any points, so my tama goes hungry often :c

When they are an adult, you can play games in "away" for some points,

but until then, I think the only way for you to get points is to wait until a guest comes to your door,

and keep your tama alive with the two hearts that the stupid baby food fills :/

But my tama is almost to Generation 4, and when you make it to the next generation,

at least on mine, the parent comes by and gives you food, or sometimes 2000 points.

That actually happens quite often when my music star is a teen.

I've actually been getting guests every once and awhile, and they've given me some food. I'm still worried though. I wish I knew this from the beginning because I had plenty more points. It sucks because I spent some of it on toys and snacks, and now I feel like I should just ration all my money so my tama never goes hungry. T3T Food is more important after all.

The guide said something like, the better music star status you achieve, the more points you get.

But augh I never want the poor thing to go hungry.. I would feel so bad if I couldn't afford even a banana or something. XD

I hope people keep coming to gift some food for him. So I don't run out. :blink:

Does anybody have any information about the can't-pause-when-asleep thing? Because I swear in V3 you could do that.

 
I know that it raises stress, but press 'c' and choose yes, your tama will wake up, and then you can pause it. Hope I helped!

okay yeah the first problem has been solved but the second remains unknown but i have the answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

okay when he is sleeping hit the b button to go to the time (i suggest getting your music star this is confusing) then hit the b button again and hold it down when doing this then just hit the a button this is what i do it is very confusing i have to pause my friends when he needs it paused. but that is how you do it again go to the clock then hit b and when you hit it hold it down then hit the a button and it will pause hoped i helped!!!!!

Tori: Thank you so much! I was unsure what it would do if I woke tama up, because I've never actually ventured to do it yet. If all it does is raise stress, I'm sure I can relieve that stress later on. Thanks!!! :lol:

.YOUR WELCOME i am glad i actually helped!!! and you have to unpause it the same way!! i hate it because when you hit the a button it takes you to the menu where you can view your band or your tamas stats so wierd.
