V5 no download function after battery change

Hey, I had to change the battery of my V5 today and like with all the Conncection models, I expected there to be a download function so that I could continue with where I was before (generation 6).

So what happened when I changed the battery is that a screen appeared that said "WAIT !" and then I was asked to enter all the data again (date, hour, my birthday, name etc.) and then 3 eggs appeared and I had to start over again from scratch which is super annoying

Any idea what I did wrong? Like what is the exact process for the V5? All the other version have the screen appear directly that asks whether to Reset or to Download so I was really surprised.

Maybe you accidentally pressed the “Reset” option or somehow it glitched!

The connections definitely offer the players to download the previous data but in your case it’s strange

Yes, I guess you're right. Either by accident or a glitch. I had never seen this "Wait !" Screen before.
But since I had lost my data anyways, I took the battery out again to try another time and this time I could see the Reset & Download options. I hope it will work out fine the next time I need to change the battery.

I've had this problem with my V5 before, but I always assumed it was because mine was old kind of beat up. It's possible that V5's might just be prone to this... Although my Music Star has also done this before, but it's also old and beat up.
