V4 Audio Lower Pitch?

My friend gave me her V4s about 2 years ago and they work fine, but when comparing them to my V2 the pitch seems a bit lower. I don't mind the difference but I was wondering if this was normal?

I also juat found out something else. When I hold my V2 up to my ear I can hear a faint beeping sound. It sort of reminds me of a bomb 0_0

that beep is the tama's "heartbeat" older versions have this. the beeping is normal

also, the v4 can maybe have a lower pitch of sound because it's made that way, or maybe it's just the batteries, try replacing the batteries of the v4

The V4 does have a different pitch than the V2. Even if you put new batteries in I believe the pitch stays lower. And like tamafan said, that's just the "heartbeat" of your V2. (My room is really quiet at night so when I'm running my V2 I can hear the heartbeat from across the room ).
