Using PayPal to buy Tamagotchi?

Hello, I'm going to be buying a tamagotchi off a seller off Tamatalk.

I'm obvs going to be using PayPal because it's the safest way. However will I have to pay charges because the money has to be converted from GBP (British) into USD (American) and Will PalPal charge me because I am sending money to someone?

I'm guessing not, because since you already paid for the item/ sent some money, it would sort of be unfair to send more money just to convert the money into USD.
