USB IrDA brands that work with Tamagotchis?

I wanted to try out downloading items onto my Tamagotchi id L.

Can anyone suggest brands of USB irDA attachments that have been proven to work? I'm a little hesitant to purchase something I've never used before!

I never heard there were certain ones that do not work. I just went and bought a cheap one off ebay. It's just a simple little dongle.

I bought one that says ACTiSYS on it, it works fine.
